If you are having problems with your controller profiles not being loaded, create a duplicate profile for each device and profile and give each a unique name, then delete your old profile and restart the sim. If it keeps happening repeat the process or submit a help desk/bug report to Microsoft/Asobo about this issue
Thank you for this great initiative. I received my gladiator EVO a few weeks ago and it's a real pleasure coupled with the WWII combo. This video contains a lot of extra informations, thank you very much. 🙂
@@untoldforce .Very good news, I encourage you to continue these videos on the other modules. It's a good way of approaching your VKB Device software, which is not easily affordable but full of resources. If it takes a while, I'll probably have my second combo waiting for me...🤔
Waiting on getting my own, probably too late for this year but looking forwards to it so much... Experienced in flight sims but not 2024, and it'd be my first VKB product and this makes me so excited to get my hands on one! Amazing vid, very informative but not boring - brilliant!
Is it possible to bind the primary axes to conventional movement controls in other games? Effectively using a stick as WASD and/or a mouse for some less-than-simulator games
My issue right now is I have the SEM and THQ all connected together to my Gladiator and my mixture axis refuses to stay saved. I have to set it for each flight even if it's the same plane. I'm even setting for default. Microsoft refuses to address it.
VKB devices create additional virtual controllers because the standard limitation is 8 axes/128 buttons. Once you exceed 8 axes, the VKB device will create a virtual controller with the same name as the original one. MSFS 2020 handled this with no problems, but MSFS 2024 does not. I have the same issue and can only hope that they will fix it soon. If you happen to be a MS/Asobo developer reading this comment I am happy to work with you to resolve this problem and others so we can all enjoy the sim! It seems that the only fix for this at the moment is to disconnect the cable between your Gladiator base from your module and install an additional GNX USB controller. It's unfortunate that it requires extra hardware (and another USB port) but that's the situation we're in until changes are made to MSFS 2024.
Don't know if it's just me but I don't get a preview like I did adjusting the joystick sensitivity like I did in 2020 for some reason, was expecting the center point to move when I move the axis but it just stays still
Hi, would you have any solution for MSFS 2024 seeing my Gladiator EVO Joystick and my THQ module as having the same name? This causes a conflict in 2024 (was not a problem in 2020). End result is that the THQ unit always loses it's profile assignment when moving to another aircraft. By the way, the THQ is really only used for mixture, as the throttle and propeller axis are bound to the joystick. I suppose I could just use the EN1 encoder for mixture like you do, and not use the red mixture control on the THQ..... Is there a way to change the name/identifier of a VKB unit in VKBDevConfig.exe? Thanks, Bill

Thank you very much for this video, which finally allows me to enjoy this great joystick
Excellent video, perfect for a sim noob like me who just received his NXT as a Xmas gift 😊
Enjoy!

I'm working on additional videos for extra modules! It'll take some time but I hope they will be valuable to you

That full setup @0:56 looks sick af!
I wonder if they're hiring..

The VKB Gladiator NXT with SCG was my first VKB product and, as you can see the the video, I've grown rather fond of them!
LOL this vid dropped just in time. I received my nxt evo few days ago and was trying out configuration on msfs2024 yesterday
🎉❤ just on spot! Already start liking this brand😅
+vkbsim *Thanks for the brief.* The Gladiatorᵀᴹ NXTᵀᴹ Series is versatile, and all controls are accessible.
Can’t wait for the stecs video was trying to bind the collective axis for a helicopter and was getting weird interactions
Very Nicely Done Untold!
I'm looking forward to the Gunfighter/Stecs videos. This will help. Thanks for this video! It helps.

2024 doesn't show input previews (yet)
That's unfortunately a bug in the current release of MSFS 2024. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon.
I know wrong place for tech help, but what if I don’t see my vkb stick or stecs in msgs 2024? Shows up in msfs 2020, dcs, il2, etc. frustrating.
Come on our Discord server, there will be more eyes on the issue and hopefully some good advice discord.gg/UJAdpdHpYm

Can you jump into the Discord and ask there? It's easier to do tech support in that space
You can walk around now in FS2024. It would be great if you could do a help video on using the VKB Gladiator Premium Ministick to walk around.
That's a great thing to bind to a Gladiator Omni-throttle!
