The song writing is a collaborative effort. The girls have clarified this many times. This is a guitar riffs heavy song. In addition to writing her own guitar riffs and adding complicated rhythms and chords changes to the songs Dany and Ale are full fledged contributers to melody and lyrics. I first discovered The Warning back in mid 2015 and have not missed a single day for well over five years in which I have listened to or watched a video of these amazing young sisters. In my 61 years of life I have never been so into a band as I am these young ladies. I have been saying for many years now that they would one day be known world wide and be recognized as one of, if not the greatest power trio of all time. As you see here, they are well on their way to bringing that prediction to fruition. It has been a joyous ride watching them “evolve” from three very young girls doing covers on TH-cam to the full on rock stars now exploding on the world music scene. With the release of this song “Evolve” and a previously released kick ass song “Choke” about a month ago as singles, and the yet to be named album from which they come, these sisters have not just opened up doors of unlimited opportunity, but kicked them down! "Maximum kick ass" is what Kirk Hammett described drummer Pau's playing,and everything Pau,and her sisters do is maximum kick ass ! But in this video in particular,Pau has taken her theatrics to another level - the Harley Quinn of rock. As for her style of drumming,she has definitely gotten more refined and tighter,and her hand speed has just gone up another level (she waa always quick),but,if you want to see how she has "evolved" from the earlier days,where she was renowned for her flailing arm style of drumming,very dramatic,but still totallt on point,just check out their performance of "Survive" from Ted X,from 2017,and you'll understand why she is called "The Shredder". But all of the girls in this band are just another step up from other current girl groups,and they are gonna take the world by storm,and yes - you've been warned !

Its impossible to not notice Paulina on drums. She is a nuclear explosion on stage, just set her off and watch the energy unfold. In fact, her drum cover of a Kelly Clarkson song when she was 10 years old, was how I found the band three years ago. Do not sleep on Alejandra though, she is probably the most technical musician of the sisters. She is a Spector Bass artist, and has a signature model due to be released this year (at the age of 16! ). The 5 string custom she is playing is a work of art. Evolve really highlights the rhythm section, and is a wonderful piece of music which I look forward to seeing live.

Greetings from Fresno, California Yeedeed! Great reaction! This is the 2nd single off of their yet to be released 3rd full-length LP. "We wrote - EVOLVE - about humanity's dangerous obsession with evolving... and how sometimes that evolution leads us to slowly leave our humanity behind. Is this dehumanizing evolution right or wrong?" The Villarreal sisters are amazing songwriters and performers. Each one of their original songs is an absolute banger. Their second album, "Queen of the Murder Scene", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and psychosis and eventually suicide. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards. Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI Century Blood", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "Escape the Mind"; and it is amazing. Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage. After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group last fall. We are all patiently awaiting their 3rd album release. The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock. Both parents are professionals (civil engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English speaking school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico. They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 5, 5 and 3 years old. Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC. When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. A year or so later, they got "real" instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. They are 21, 19 and 16 years old and they now have written #45 original songs that are ALL great! They write and arranged them all by themselves. I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, intelligent and fun-loving young ladies who are truely grateful and endearing to their fans. The Warning are three sisters that started making music very young Alejandra (Ale = Aleh, not the beer. Bass, backing vocals and keyboard, the youngest- 16 as of March 2021) and Paulina (Pau = Pow. Drums, backing/lead vocals and keyboard, middle sister 19 as of March 2021) at 3 and Daniela (Dany = Dany. Guitar, lead vocals and keyboard, the oldest 21 as of March 2021) 5, all learning classical piano. They got the video game Rock Band and fell in love with the feeling of performing on other instruments. Their father asked if they wanted to learn another instrument and the girls jumped at the opportunity and gravitated to the instruments they played in Rock Band. They had been uploading their musical journey to TH-cam for their family to see and had wanted to try and play music together as a band around 2012 and started rehearsed for a small performance for their school xmas show. Well They loved the experience so much they began learning and playing cover songs of hard rock and metal bands. One song in particular shot them into the limelight. That song, "Enter Sandman" by Metallica had gone viral (currently over 22 000 000 views) and had gotten the attention of Metallica, Dee Snyder and The Ellen Show! The Warning wrote, composed and recorded an EP called Escape the Mind in 2015 to experience that whole process and to determine what type of music they liked to make... Thankfully they chose Rock/Hard Rock! Ellen Degeneres invited the band to play live on her show, to which they accepted and played "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne, after the performance Ellen and Target awarded the sisters $10,000 each to attend Berklee School of Music in Boston, Ma. USA. They performed a number of small and large shows afterward and began writing and composing new material for their first full length album "XXI Century Blood" in 2017. They supported this album with some very high profile gigs like opening for Def Leppard and separately The Killers for two shows each in Mexico. Also following other large rock bands in a couple music festivals. In 2018 they wrote and recorded "Queen of the Murder Scene" and released it in November of that year and have toured Mexico and South American venues. In June of 2019 they released a single, "Narcisista". A scathing rebuke of their Mexican critics that had accused the band of being "Malinchista" a Mexican term used to call out cultural traitors, because the group has only recorded English language songs. Well this song is in Spanish and it is full of attitude and angst fired toward those critics. In fact in one interview with a record label they were asked if they would rather play to 12 people or 12000. Paulina piped up and said The Warning would rather play in front of 12 if it meant they would keep their integrity and could play the music they want to play, how they want to play... That is the most Rock n Roll quote ever! So after a very successful Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for a North American tour and to record a new album achieving their goal within 24 hours and surpassing that goal by 600%. Unfortunately the Covid-19 Pandemic forced the band to cancel their tour plans and postpone making their album. Their last live show before the global lockdown was March 14 2020 at the Vive Latino 2020 Festival in Mexico City.This did not stop The Warning from performing though, they played a full concert set from their basement studio/rehearsal space for free for their fans on TH-cam and Facebook achieving well over 50,000 simultaneous viewers on March 25, 2020. They have since performed from The Warning Cave couple more times including for the city of Brownsville, Tx. for the Fourth of July virtual celebration and later in the summer for a charity event with rock legends like Slash and Ringo Star. On August 9th 2020 The Warning announced to their Patreon community that after seven long months of negotiations they had signed a five record deal with Lava Records, a label under the Republic Records and Universal Music family. During the announcement they reiterated their dedication to their own creative integrity and dedicated fans on Patreon and were able to retain both in their record contract with Lava. In Sept of 2020 The Warning traveled to New Jersey, USA to begin rehearsal and eventually recording of their third album. After three months of recording and a month and a half of mastering, mixing and editing the third album was completed at the beginning of February, 2021. That's one of the things i love about them , good point about them not being scared to cross over into different genres, but now they are crossing over , in the same song , like this song starting with rock then going into metal and ending with rock music.I think they could really be on to something here and i would like to see more of it . It can make the song even more interesting .

The best shows in terms of quality were Lunario at CDMX and Foro DiDi in their hometowm Monterry, MX. So any video from these shows are great. And of course, their last single "Choke", released on May 21st 2021, that was their first single with Lava Records, is also great, including the cool video.
I agree with you TH-cam has bee doing some strange things lately. First thing I noticed is when you watched Pau barely move on the drums I suggest you watch their Tedx (Ted Talk) show you will see a major difference in her drumming style, most notably on the song "Survive". This song definitely has a heavier sound and it kicks a$$, I'm surprised you didn't say this song gave you chills or goose bumps because that's what I get. Most of us have been following these amazing sisters since they were kids so it begs to ask are we just biased because we love them or will they be as good if not better to someone first listening to them. Dany (Daniela) on guitar is 21 yrs., Pau (Paulina) on drums is 19 yrs., and Ale (Alejandra) on bass is 16 yrs. They all can and do sing lead. Paulina (Pau) sings lead about 25% of the time. Daniela (Dany) sings lead the rest of the time, and Alejandra (Ale) sings lead when needed but does not like the extra attention. They are from Monterey, Mexico and have been playing as a band since 2013. They started by doing covers. Their most famous is Metallica’s Enter Sandman (which has over 22 million views on TH-cam) but have since written and recorded their own work since 2017. They have been on the Ellen show, played and sold out the stage at the Whisky a GoGo a few times, and been at the Hollywood House of Blues, as well as many other venues. They have opened for such acts as Alice Cooper, Def Leopard, Stryper, and others. During a Pandemic live stream concert with multiple bands Lizzy Hale saw them and was so impressed she asked them to tour with her. They were completely fan funded and independent but after 7 months of negotiating, in October of 2020, they signed with Lava/Republic Records (only after negotiating to keep much of their independence). Ale is a very accomplished bass player and has a signature line of bass guitars from her sponsor Spector Guitars US (Not bad for 16 years old!). I first discovered The Warning back in mid 2015 and have not missed a single day for well over five years in which I have listened to or watched a video of these amazing young sisters. In my 61 years of life I have never been so into a band as I am these young ladies. I have been saying for many years now that they would one day be known world wide and be recognized as one of, if not the greatest power trio of all time. As you see here, they are well on their way to bringing that prediction to fruition.
It has been a joyous ride watching them “evolve” from three very young girls doing covers on TH-cam to the full on rock stars now exploding on the world music scene. With the release of this song “Evolve” and a previously released kick ass song “Choke” about a month ago as singles, and the yet to be named album from which they come, these sisters have not just opened up doors of unlimited opportunity, but kicked them down! I believe they will absolutely sell out ANY venue they chose to perform, including major arenas and stadiums.

"Maximum kick ass" is what Kirk Hammett described drummer Pau's playing,and everything Pau,and her sisters do is maximum kick ass ! But in this video in particular,Pau has taken her theatrics to another level - the Harley Quinn of rock. As for her style of drumming,she has definitely gotten more refined and tighter,and her hand speed has just gone up another level (she waa always quick),but,if you want to see how she has "evolved" from the earlier days,where she was renowned for her flailing arm style of drumming,very dramatic,but still totallt on point,just check out their performance of "Survive" from Ted X,from 2017,and you'll understand why she is called "The Shredder". But all of the girls in this band are just another step up from other current girl groups,and they are gonna take the world by storm,and yes - you've been warned !
I agree with Rob. Survive performed at Ted Ex is how I became a fan. Their songwriting skills are also exceptional. Watch 10yr bass player go over the top of neck on Muse cover Hysteria.
Its impossible to not notice Paulina on drums. She is a nuclear explosion on stage, just set her off and watch the energy unfold. In fact, her drum cover of a Kelly Clarkson song when she was 10 years old, was how I found the band three years ago. Do not sleep on Alejandra though, she is probably the most technical musician of the sisters. She is a Spector Bass artist, and has a signature model due to be released this year (at the age of 16! ). The 5 string custom she is playing is a work of art. Evolve really highlights the rhythm section, and is a wonderful piece of music which I look forward to seeing live.

Greetings from Fresno, California Yeedeed! Great reaction! This is the 2nd single off of their yet to be released 3rd full-length LP. "We wrote - EVOLVE - about humanity's dangerous obsession with evolving... and how sometimes that evolution leads us to slowly leave our humanity behind. Is this dehumanizing evolution right or wrong?" The Villarreal sisters are amazing songwriters and performers. Each one of their original songs is an absolute banger. Their second album, "Queen of the Murder Scene", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and psychosis and eventually suicide. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards. Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI Century Blood", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "Escape the Mind"; and it is amazing. Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage. After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group last fall. We are all patiently awaiting their 3rd album release.
The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock. Both parents are professionals (civil engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English speaking school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico. They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 5, 5 and 3 years old. Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC. When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. A year or so later, they got "real" instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. They are 21, 19 and 16 years old and they now have written #45 original songs that are ALL great! They write and arranged them all by themselves. I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, intelligent and fun-loving young ladies who are truely grateful and endearing to their fans.

The Warning are three sisters that started making music very young Alejandra (Ale = Aleh, not the beer. Bass, backing vocals and keyboard, the youngest- 16 as of March 2021) and Paulina (Pau = Pow. Drums, backing/lead vocals and keyboard, middle sister 19 as of March 2021) at 3 and Daniela (Dany = Dany. Guitar, lead vocals and keyboard, the oldest 21 as of March 2021) 5, all learning classical piano. They got the video game Rock Band and fell in love with the feeling of performing on other instruments. Their father asked if they wanted to learn another instrument and the girls jumped at the opportunity and gravitated to the instruments they played in Rock Band.
They had been uploading their musical journey to TH-cam for their family to see and had wanted to try and play music together as a band around 2012 and started rehearsed for a small performance for their school xmas show. Well They loved the experience so much they began learning and playing cover songs of hard rock and metal bands. One song in particular shot them into the limelight. That song, "Enter Sandman" by Metallica had gone viral (currently over 22 000 000 views) and had gotten the attention of Metallica, Dee Snyder and The Ellen Show! The Warning wrote, composed and recorded an EP called Escape the Mind in 2015 to experience that whole process and to determine what type of music they liked to make... Thankfully they chose Rock/Hard Rock! Ellen Degeneres invited the band to play live on her show, to which they accepted and played "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne, after the performance Ellen and Target awarded the sisters $10,000 each to attend Berklee School of Music in Boston, Ma. USA.
They performed a number of small and large shows afterward and began writing and composing new material for their first full length album "XXI Century Blood" in 2017. They supported this album with some very high profile gigs like opening for Def Leppard and separately The Killers for two shows each in Mexico. Also following other large rock bands in a couple music festivals. In 2018 they wrote and recorded "Queen of the Murder Scene" and released it in November of that year and have toured Mexico and South American venues.
In June of 2019 they released a single, "Narcisista". A scathing rebuke of their Mexican critics that had accused the band of being "Malinchista" a Mexican term used to call out cultural traitors, because the group has only recorded English language songs. Well this song is in Spanish and it is full of attitude and angst fired toward those critics. The Warning is totally fan-funded through Patreon, TH-cam and crowdfunding platforms like GoFundMe and Kickstarter. They have turned down offers from record labels and talent shows like American Idol because they did not want to lose their control of their music, image and wanted to focus on learning. In fact in one interview with a record label they were asked if they would rather play to 12 people or 12000. Paulina piped up and said The Warning would rather play in front of 12 if it meant they would keep their integrity and could play the music they want to play, how they want to play... That is the most Rock n Roll quote ever!
So after a very successful Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for a North American tour and to record a new album achieving their goal within 24 hours and surpassing that goal by 600%. Unfortunately the Covid-19 Pandemic forced the band to cancel their tour plans and postpone making their album. Their last live show before the global lockdown was March 14 2020 at the Vive Latino 2020 Festival in Mexico City.This did not stop The Warning from performing though, they played a full concert set from their basement studio/rehearsal space for free for their fans on TH-cam and Facebook achieving well over 50,000 simultaneous viewers on March 25, 2020. They have since performed from The Warning Cave couple more times including for the city of Brownsville, Tx. for the Fourth of July virtual celebration and later in the summer for a charity event with rock legends like Slash and Ringo Star.
On August 9th 2020 The Warning announced to their Patreon community that after seven long months of negotiations they had signed a five record deal with Lava Records, a label under the Republic Records and Universal Music family. During the announcement they reiterated their dedication to their own creative integrity and dedicated fans on Patreon and were able to retain both in their record contract with Lava. In Sept of 2020 The Warning traveled to New Jersey, USA to begin rehearsal and eventually recording of their third album. After three months of recording and a month and a half of mastering, mixing and editing the third album was completed at the beginning of February, 2021. All that remains as of 22/02/21 is the album design and artwork and logistics of the release which will hopefully happen by the end of 2021.

That's one of the things i love about them , good point about them not being scared to cross over into different genres, but now they are crossing over , in the same song , like this song starting with rock then going into metal and ending with rock music.I think they could really be on to something here and i would like to see more of it . I am relatively new having just discovered them earlier this year. If you want to check out their beginnings do their cover of Enter Sandman and see how good they were when they were 14, 12 and nine years old (ages approximate). There's tons of great live videos from their previous, independant releases and older covers on their channel. The best shows in terms of quality were Lunario at CDMX and Foro DiDi in their hometowm Monterry, MX. So any video from these shows are great. And of course, their last single "Choke", released on May 21st 2021, that was their first single with Lava Records, is also great, including the cool video.
I agree with you TH-cam has bee doing some strange things lately. First thing I noticed is when you watched Pau barely move on the drums I suggest you watch their Tedx (Ted Talk) show you will see a major difference in her drumming style, most notably on the song "Survive". This song definitely has a heavier sound and it kicks a$$, I'm surprised you didn't say this song gave you chills or goose bumps because that's what I get. The Warning is a band of 3 sisters. Dany (Daniela) on guitar is 21 yrs., Pau (Paulina) on drums is 19 yrs., and Ale (Alejandra) on bass is 16 yrs. They all can and do sing lead. Paulina (Pau) sings lead about 25% of the time. Daniela (Dany) sings lead the rest of the time, and Alejandra (Ale) sings lead when needed but does not like the extra attention. They are from Monterey, Mexico and have been playing as a band since 2013. They started by doing covers. Their most famous is Metallica’s Enter Sandman (which has over 22 million views on TH-cam) but have since written and recorded their own work since 2017. They have been on the Ellen show, played and sold out the stage at the Whisky a GoGo a few times, and been at the Hollywood House of Blues, as well as many other venues. They have opened for such acts as Alice Cooper, Def Leopard, Stryper, and others. During a Pandemic live stream concert with multiple bands Lizzy Hale saw them and was so impressed she asked them to tour with her. They were completely fan funded and independent but after 7 months of negotiating, in October of 2020, they signed with Lava/Republic Records (only after negotiating to keep much of their independence). Ale is a very accomplished bass player and has a signature line of bass guitars from her sponsor Spector Guitars US (Not bad for 16 years old!). Pau is a world-class drummer (at 19) and Dany is not far behind in here guitar abilities. All are extremely passionate about music and do not cut corners on anything. To understand their immense talent, you need to see them from early on. You have to do all songs in their original order.
