I grew up in the 70s fishing on this spot. My Grandfather was a close friend and co-worker of the owner of the land and we would go down to open/close irrigation gates, check cattle, and fish. In those days it was pecan orchards and cattle grazing. We'd go there and fish for a week at a time, camping on the river.

Last time I drove there, I drove from San Antonio, and it was a 2 hr. straight shot. No problem. But, I have been itching to go back! I was lucky enough to go play the week before the zombie apocalypse hit. So would you say it's worth it to go now or wait? Thanks!
