Afraid of Purity (as a Christian)

So, this is just me talking (after 8 months of not posting, I'm really sorry about that) about how sometimes purity scares me. Because we talk more about resisting and fighting and doing and getting stronger vs. actually investing deeply in a relationship with God.

Hey, man totally agree with you there is no preaching if there is no meaning. Trust me it took me months to realize what it really means to be in relationship. Works alone is very dry man, it’s important to love and talk to other people. It’s all good man God won’t be mad at you if you don’t know things, he will more than likely be mad if you just keep rejecting him continuously like if it were water.

Reading the Bible is like eating. If you don’t eat you will go hungry. If you don’t read the word of God you will spiritually starve. Just as we eat three or more times a day, we should deeply read and meditate on God’s word night and day.
