It happened in Canada years ago when some Chinese customers returned their AAA reploca LV to the real LV stores and no one noticed it was fake until the store resold that product to the next customer and they called LV to check the serial number and found out that serial number invalid.

10:28 A lot of the stuff you buy from the fake markets are factory rejects. They were made for the actual company but they failed quality control and were not sent to the US for sale. Generally, these are meant to be destroyed, but usually the people in the factories take them and sell them to the fake markets for a quick buck. Some reasons for failing QC include being mislabeled (size 8 labeled as size 7), slight imperfections, etc. So yes, those could very well be genuine Adidas sneakers.

Lots of these are not fake per se. Since alot of these products contracts out factories to produce their products, They are more like factory surplus without the company's consent. But all materials are exact same. So you can tell how much mark ups are in these products bearing adidas stripes. It became so proliferate they are called AAA replicas compares to lower grade counterfeits.
