Excellent project and well executed!!! I have the tools and skills and will make a similiar one for my bride’s (of 41 years) hatchback. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
That is so cooL! i just got a 2023 impreza... was looking at an outback but my budget only allowed me a impreza.. I love to see builds for imprezas out there that works and looks just as good! my goal some day is an outback, but I would love a built like this for my impreza!!!
Great to see a video of someone building out an impreza. Excellent job, very sleek and a good use of space. I've got a '14 impreza hatchback and am looking to do something similar to your own. My constructive feedback is that I would have been really nice to have some dialogue explaining the process in more detail. Also curious how much a project like this costs.
Awesome filming and end result! I also named my wagon subrina ahaha. I had the back seats out for a bit for a camper conversion but need to do a version 2 as the first was heavy and clunky but it worked and had tons of sleeping/sitting space
I'm glad you like it Sydney! You're in luck as I don't accept limbs at this time. Seriously though just send me a message through my site if you would like to discuss a budget and build.
Your video is great, I like your production process and ideas, it is also a good note to have an ending at the end, but it is missing how you use the diy you made. Is this the next episode?
Hi there! It took about 40 working hours from start to finish, including brainstorming, design work, and the total construction. Replication of the current design would take half as long, most likely. I appreciate the interest!
The build was designed to not impede normal life. The platform would need to be removed to get to the spare but the whole thing weighs maybe 40 lbs (18 kg) total. Also, the passenger rear seat can be used if you simply fold the platform up into the cargo area.

This is awesome! This is wonderful, well done! I wish I could get this made for me without costing an arm and a leg.

Spencer, do you think you can email the blueprints to this project so I can build this? Thank you
Great build. Thanks for sharing. How easy/ difficult is it to get to the spare tyre?

How high is the platform? Loks like 3 or 4 inches raised?
may i know what bedding you have there?
@Spencer Lund thanks for the respond!
What mattress is that?
Sea to Summit Comfort Plus SI! It works great.
I call mine Unimpreza.
Well, sure, if I could build stuff and had tools and a shop.....
