My personal strategy if anyone is interested
YM futures
4 hour for trend structure
15 minute entry
50-75 tick stops
125-300 tick targets
No trades on Monday or Friday
1 trade per day max
3 Losses per week
Wednesday or Thursday with one great trade can make a traders entire week. Patience Pays.
Great info on red streaks and keep it up
This is so true. I realized Thursday tends to be my best day. The trades I make prior to that day determine my psychology toward wins and losses.
@SpAceAlexAnder Monday and Tuesday is the opening of the weekly candle and starts the Auctioning process to either be a down candle, an up candle or an indecision candle. By waiting for Wednesday and Thursday, you have a better sense of where price is going that week.

Low R-Vol is a good tell, I also like to look at VIX out of the corner of my eye, anything under 14-15 you know the continuation will be non-existent. Keep up the good work!

You and me both cuz. I got a little greedy. Was up 30% and then lost the whole position. Wasn't a huge loss (4k) but it was a wake up call. Stick to the plan!!
tight range makes it tough. I put a daily max loss to flatten positions on my futures software (sierra chart).
Also, totally agree about how starting the day in a hole can make things worse. If you are fast scalping, sizing down the first 30 minutes when things are faster (generally) can help fight that.
I like to get done earlier in the day so slow openings stink. Mentally fatigued later in the day then don't even get me started on this post 3 pm power hour stuff
The statement of hesitation is the truth. Slow volume for the past 2 been sitting on my hands while trendlines break and go my way. Keep up the videos helpful just as much as your preopen livestreams.

I'm so glad to see a profitable trader go through what I went through last week and know it's not just me! IMO the break and retest really hasn't been good to me but at least you trade multiple tickers so you get multiple chances to see your strat play out. But this volume lately has been criminal and I pray we get back to a real market with volume to get those continuations. But dude my confidence has been so low lately, today I was green but until that confidence is back I will continue to keep my TP small and compound those gains

When I have a red cycle, (usually choppy market) I don't concentrate on actual stop loss $ amount I reduce my position size OR sit on my hands. Been a rough month thus far.

A pro trader I listen to for advice told me that after two bad trades in a day, all stop, go do something else, you are out of sync today. Good advice.
Just not able to take the losses in lower 1-5% and just keep watching it ballon to 20+%. Don’t know how to get to press the close position button when the losses are manageable. Has happened with penny stocks and now with larger stocks as well :(

seek professionals support not some very cool and semi-knowledgeable guy on TH-cam. Personally, I gather information on TH-cam but verify with Stacey Macken . If it doesn't align with her report, I avoid getting involved. This way i've been able to save a lot of money while making a lot of money
I am surprised that this name is being mentioned here, I stumbled upon some of her clients testimonies on CNBC news last week..
What impresses me most about Stacey Macken is how well she explains basic concept of winning before actually letting you use her trade signals. This goes a long way to ensure winning trades.
Her technical analysis is excellent and hid interpretation/projections of the market is so accurate I sometimes ask myself if she is human haha. Point is, Stacey is the perfect trader to follow for advise and daily signals.
