FYI people ,this skilled labor intensive detail hasn't been used in 20 years on pipes ,all major epdm rubber roofs make " witches hats " pipe boots you simply cut to fit the thickness of the pipe ,slide over the pipe ,stick to the deck after priming ,then put a hose clamp around the top of the witches hat pipe boot and tighten the clamp and it's done ,this detail would take a skilled journeyman roofer 30 minutes to apply ,a witches hat pipe boot takes under 5 minutes to install and they are guaranteed for 30 yrs by Firestone and Carlisle.
They make this video to view so we can know what to do in case there is a penetration that isn't open ended. Which requires more skill to prevent a return trip. But yes, this exact pipe would make do with the witch hat.

I do these in 15 minutes ( only because of glue setup time)
