    I’m pushing for Vladdy to get a huge extension from the Jays. More then any other player. Jays deserve to have to overpay or blow it and miss out on him entirely for how they screwed him over in 2019. They deserve what ever they get.. or don’t get

      Solid point. The idea of paying a RFer like Tucker $450 million when he's closing on 30 by 2026, a 5-win corner guy... it's absurd. If you get 30 wins out of him he's close to a HOFer, but you've still made a preposterous overpay. It's only if inflation goes crazy that you're even likely to break even.

    Fan of the game for 43 years here is a thought to keep teams together what if everyone is allowed to sign there best 2 players for whatever teams wish without consequences to tax penalties. I hate to see teams torn up what’s the point of developing players if the rich teams take then after 5 years. Yet who am I just someone who loves the game. ❤

      It's a great idea. Watching Pittsburgh, KC, Oakland et al serve as little more than a farm system for the big market teams is ugly.

    • @johnstrawb3521

      Incorrect. There are huge holes in Jr.'s resume. He wants to sell himself as a 6-7 win player but he's also been worth 2 wins, 4 wins, half a win, and 2 wins. If Toronto wants to pay him like a 6 win player before the year starts, he should jump at it.

    I think it's possible that Ken and Scott are wrong here about Nolan Arenado. The Dodgers have been interested in Arenado for years. I am surprised you guys are buying this Max Muncy is our third baseman statement when Muncy is a much better option at second and they can move Gavin Lux with 2 more years of control before free agency.

    • @jlopez1017d
      @jlopez1017d หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Why would the Dodgers do a lateral trade move that is complicated. Arenado’s bat is on the decline, he’s not a good base runner. Lux has more years of control and Muncy’s deal is very team friendly. The only way I see this happening is if the Cards take a massive L and eat up the majority of the money. It would have to be an absolute steal for LA and Arenado would have to strong arm them by not opening up his clause for any other team but LA.

  • @errejotaelege

    I dont think Alex Bregman is a $200 Mil 7 year player. I don't think Christian Walker a lifetime 250 hitter who will start 2025 at age 34 is worth $60 Mil for 3 years. Wow what has MLB become? These salaries are insane! What is gonna happen when Yordan Alvarez becomes a Free Agent for Astros? I think the Soto signing has truly distorted the MLB FA salaries. I know lets get rid of the minor leagues because it is toooo expensive to keep up. What a crock of BS.
