Hearing Ruka singing send chills up my spine. She is a rapper and we don't see her sing but I love her singing tone here. I have seen clips of her hitting playfully the High notes. I think we are not seeing the full range that Ruka is capable of.

episode 1-3 is 1 month, 4-6 is another month and 7+8 is another month.
Its clear they cut a bit of content. You see in the intro of this video them practicing with Kael Tutin, another Choreeographer who does a lot of work with BlackPink, but that performance video was just recently released, so they probably had to do a lot more in those 1 month periods then what we see in these episodes. As well as going to school.

They get 30 days before each song or dance evaluation. Their monthly evaluations work on this principle. Select your song and practice for 30 days to be evaluated. This cycle is repeated again and again until the producer feels they are ready to debut. Most of the girls have been on this repetitive cycle for more than 4 year to 6 years. Chiquita is the shortest training at less than 2 years but she is a genius computer memory like Lisa in learning song and dance routines and has a natural visual stage presence.

the first evaluation (first 30 days of practice) was the 2 teams performance and the dance performance.
The solos are all on the following month, so they get 30 days to practice for their solos.
Eventually they get to the 3rd month which is the last 2 episodes (dont want to give any spoilers so ill just say that).
But basically they had 3 separate evaluations with 30 days between them, the solos are on the second month/evaluation.
25:27 YGX is a company. while it started as a sub-label of YG, now it became YG's dance department and dance academy. They entered a dance competition with a dance crew under the same name (YGX) but YGX is a subsidiary of YG focused on dance, so i doubt you "heard a song of theirs", you must be thinking of someone else. in short, YGX is the YG's subsidiary that manages YG's dance crews.
In fact, one of the girls (the one on the right) they focused when saying YGX was Leejung, which is the dance coach of Babymonster.
