Two separate friends had suggested Cavtat so for my first trip to Croatia this June, we headed straight there. Absolutely loved it. Very relaxed, gorgeous, friendly, and inexpensive.
Thank you so much for recommending this place! I followed your recommendation yesterday and we spent the day there, we went with bus number 10, and we had the best day ever and not so packed with people as Dubrovnik. Really, your advice was precious! And good prices and amazong vibe!❤
Hi guys just come across your channel.first stayed in Croatia in 2018.stayed in novigrad Istria..like you we visited rovinj and Pula,we also got a ferry from porec over to Venice for the day..glad you liked cavtat we stayed in hotel Croatia in 2021 fab place in fact one of the best holidays we ever had..will be binge watching your travels over weekend.. keep living the dream and making memories..
What a lovely video. I am going here in May and this has made me more excited. I am now going to watch all your videos for some inspiration on where to go. Beautiful family.
Cavtat looks amazing.. We're Road tripping Croatia next year July 23 Zagreb to Dubrovnik and am definitely gonna stay in Cavtat for 3/4 days.. Thanks for the heads up guys😊
Really loved your video. Insightful and laid back at the same time. You chaps should have a travel show :) We can't decide between staying in Dubrovnik centre or Mlini or Cavtat for our 9 night summer break, so if you've any reccommendations I'd love to hear them - thanks for posting!
Btw there's tons of underrated non touristy, but beatiful spots in Croatia like Cavtat. You could do like a month cruise on the islands of Croatia alone. Trogir, Konavle, Makarska, Senj, Nin, Skradin, Knin, Imotski, Pazin, Buje, Poreč, Varaždin, Trakošćan, Vukovar, Lonjsko field, Beli Manastir, Čakovec, Korenica, Velebit...etc.
@@parttimetravellingfamily hey, now you've only scratched the surface you can easily come to us again but visit the mainland as well, the northern regions are known for their wine and good food we eat better here than down by the sea
Cavtat is my favourite place in Croatia and have been 8 times in the last 10 years . Loved the video btw . Hope you are going to Kotor on your trip to Montenegro and look forward to your video if you are .
I couldn't recommend Cavtat enough Nigel! What a fantastic place! We did go to Kotor BUT I am having difficulty finding the vlog footage at the moment. I'll be posting Dubrovnik vlog next. Hopefully I find the footage in time to post after that 🖤
Cavtat is gorgeous isn't ? Try and base yourselves in Lapad whilst in Dubrovnik - only 10-15 minutes by bus to the Old Town , Lapad ''Sunset beach'' and beautiful walks down the leafy promenade and round the Peninsula walkway to the right of Sunset beach ....it's a stunning walk. Enjoy guys.
Never stay in dubrovnik.. I usually stay in Srebreno, Mlini or Cavtat, and pay a ferry to go to dubrovnik for the day.. So my day trip is to dubrovnik lol
The islands, Hvar, Korčula, Vis, Mljet are waiting for you.Renaissance theater on the sunniest Adriatic island of Hvar, was built in 1612 during Venetian rule.Along with the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza (1585) and the Teatro all'Antica in Sabbioneta (1588), it is one of the oldest public theaters in Europe.Korčula, another mythical and beautiful island from which Marco Polo originates., There you will find the kind of sandy beaches you love. The island of Mljet, a national park, is also special, as is the island of Vis, which for years in the former state was inaccessible because the army was there. In any case, register it on another occasion if you ever return to these areas again.
There's no hate in comparing us to Italy. We have the most beautiful countries and greatest food 😎 As long as you don't say "Trieste is Croatian" or "Istria is Italian", you will have no problems. Oh yeah, shoutout to Greece and Albania, beautiful and great food.
