My mother in law just passed away 😢. She was more than a mom, a friend, an older sister i never had. We had a beautiful relationship, as I listened to this song, it brought in tears but I also felt a deep understanding of this hymn unlike before.I started to reflect on my own life and I realised I have a race to run, she finished hers. My prayer ndisaite kuda kwangu asi ndizadzise kurururama, so that on that final day, heavenly and earthly witness will testify on my behalf and address me and say Hoyo mushandiri washe, paupenyu napakufa. Even in death , may I remain in Jesus Christ.
My grandma has been buried today. I chose this version and tune as the theme song thru out the burial. This was her favorite hym. It is soo smooth.
