Freguesia de Jacarepaguá is a neighborhood in the West Zone of the municipality of Rio de Janeiro. Borders Tank to the north; Bargain to the west; Cidade de Deus, Gardenia Azul, and Jacarepaguá to the southwest; Anil to the south, and the Tijuca Forest to the east, officially being part of Água Santa in the North Zone. In the latest surveys, its average household income was the 23rd best in Rio de Janeiro among 160 assessed neighborhoods, being considered high.[4] The pseudonym "'Freguesia de Jacarepaguá'" is used to differentiate the homonymous neighborhood on Ilha do Governador, North Zone of Rio de Janeiro, but it is still popularly known as Freguesia.
History
It was the first parish in the Baixada de Jacarepaguá region and thus, the first in the then rural area of ​​the municipality (current West Zone, having been founded in 1661). Its current name comes from the old denomination, Parish of Nossa Senhora da Loreto and Santo Antônio de Jacarepagua.[5] It has an area of ​​1,039.61 hectares and, in 2000, its estimated population was 54,010 inhabitants, in 2010 it increased to 70,511 inhabitants.[6]
Structure
Constituted an independent neighborhood in 1981[7] (until then it was part of the Jacarepaguá neighborhood), today it is a neighborhood with commerce in rapid development, having several commercial galleries: Parish Center, Main Street, Unicenter, Upside Araguaia, Tirol Trade Center and Walkway of Jacarepaguá. and two shopping malls, Quality Shopping, which has some courses, stores, a playground and theater, and Rioshopping, with more leisure options. It represents the second economic hub in Jacarepaguá (second only to Taquara). It also has several markets: Assaí, Mundial, Prezunic, Vianense and Armazém Urbano.

Cara, eu morei na Freguesia no começo dos anos 90 e 2000 e esse lava jato 6:43 existia na época assim como outros locais q passaram, mas esse foi o q me chamou mais atenção. Lembro q meu pai tinha um Santana 2000 em 97 e levava ai qnd eu era pequeno e eu ia junto. Qnd emoção vendo uma coisa tão banal xD

A iniciativa de mostrar o bairro e muito bom mesmo, mais não mostrou nem 30% do bairro, faltou ir em diversas ruas principais e transversais. Quando poder faça um novo vídeo mostrando o restante do bairro. Parabéns pela a iniciativa.

mais da metade do vídeo mostrou o pechincha rsrs Da Freguesia mesmo mostrou só a geremário, a ladeira da Freguesia e o retorno na Gabinal...podia ter mostrado ao menos subindo a Estrada dos Três Rios indo para a Serra e depois voltando pela Araguaia, que cortam o bairro todo.
