Thanks for sharing and nice to have your comments and effort to put the english version overlay, it helps to follow the game. Utta reminded me a bit of leader kid double attacks where you have to be ready to put blockers and have as many 2k counters as you can and at the same time develop a wide board : the problem is do you have the right resources on time especially with utta spamming the board with so many film cards at once....
I'm glad you enjoy!!! I like Uta a little more in all honesty, since it's got the ability to restand but also draw often w/ leader effect + new genesis. The I'm Invicible event tho really makes it aggressive & stronger than Kidd.
Hey man, you randomly came across my recommended after I started the tcg (Algorithms or something), but keep up the great work, you're the only channel I've seen offering english commentary over the Japanese games.
Apologies if you watched this a couple hours ago but the video suddenly cut off, I didn't notice a setting change in my editing software! This is the full game & fixed, appreciate the support!
Once the sakazuki player saw that the Uta player was giving 2k counter for 5k swings you should immediately swing 7’s or 9’s to go for game! with 2 houndblazes it would be enough.
you mean at 16:00... But Utta player still has 5 cards but you right, indeed instead of playing lucci, he could have used leader ability combined with brook ability to reduce the opponent brook to 2c and houndlaze it, then going for game. However this is still very bold at this stage :-) but considering that you will lose if he has i m invicible and backlight which is quite probable (a key utta play) you then have no choice. Also it implies that he has at least 2 cards without counters , so that gives at max another 6k counter (which is unlikely but possible), then you go 8k with brooks (and reducing -1 to the opponent brook)and 8k with borsalino (houndblaze opponent brook)...if he happens to block the first attack with sakazuki's brook...then its game other for Sakazuki, then if it takes, you go face with 8 k borsalino for game (or I think if i did not make a mistake)... but again easier said when you see his hand as you could have had many 2ks which is not impossible with Utta.
It’s at 15:21 when he swings Sakazuki leader for 5k and the uta player gave a 2k. That’s a green light to go for game there and you test his hand by swinging 9k, where he’s forced to give you a minimum of 3 2k’s. If the uta player takes you go all in with borsa double hound blaze for 13k and one 5k swing with hina to finish it off
I think I head that other Asian countries outside of JPN were not able to play the Uta Promo's because they have not been official released in the other Asian countries.
Hi new player here (incidentally playing uta), Great commentary! Just wondering why the last 2 attacks were 11k and not 10k? Not sure if i missed an effect there (my understanding was 2 backlight 3 invincible so 5 attached to 5k leader)

Thank you!!! It’s been a ton of fun

I would love to somehow recreate the game step-by-step to that point & see if the Sakazuki player recognizes that line (& how it works out)

That would make sense!! I think I also heard that. I wonder if it's legal for Worlds.

Good question!! I think I just misspoke because I watched it back just now, it was 100% 10k LOL
I love it when sakazuki lose
r e a l
When you play to not lose, you lose
💯💯💯💯💯
sanji early is like a vanilla that has 2k counter
I feel like in the games I’ve seen, early game he’s 2k but he’s a late-game combo with Luffy
uta got so lucky damn
a great job finding their outs, but I think Saka should have prioritized blockers more in hindsight.
