As a piano teacher I’m so excited for these new shorter pieces! I love your works and listen to them often, I’ve been wanting to have some students play your pieces and shorter works will work better for students. Thank you!
Thank you Amy! I have been adjudicating a number of competitions lately, and many of them participants play on-page pieces (from their graded exams), so I thought it would be a good idea to write some shorter pieces which require less time and effort to learn, but which will hopefully still motivate students.
I love your music David, thank you for bringing us your beautiful music for so long, greetings from argentina :) I've been following you for over 10 years you are an inspiration
It reminds me of the Prelude from J. S. Bach's WTC 1 in D major. Yours is more calm and serene, while J. S. Bach explores the theme he has in the beginning a bit more. Still, can't help but to wonder if it was an inspiration?
Glad you decided to include this little big jewel in the main video section! Amazing work David, simply and utterly amazing as always. Is the new album in the making?
I thought it should be included and so glad that you like it. Yes the new album should be finished soon and will probably include some of these shorter ones as well as bigger pieces.
The vibes of your lovely composition have the potential to transcend time and space. Great as always, David!

Nice to listen to. Maybe you could say the name & model of piano? Piano has an ultimate sound.
It’s a Shigeru Kawai SK7 semi concert grand
