you can get them for 150. banksy has re used them for multiple events so they arent worth anywhere near as much as they were 10 years ago

Not if this is the only one in your shop. Plus it's meant to appreciate. I'd go 300 max though. People can potentially buy this for $2k if this is the only place they could find it. I'd personally buy that for $500 from that shop. It's easy art to store. Also when Banksy dies, his artwork price will skyrocket.

Don't forget that this episode was recorded in 2013. A lot can happen in 7 years. To give an example: I was once given a bottle of Karuizawa whisky (very tasty), If I hadn't opened it up then 7 years later I could sell it for 10 times the value that it was bought for, and If I would still have it today it would even bring 20 times as much.

I've never heard of this artist, or many others that are popular these days. However, MANY of these "street artists" have genuine talent and they're expressing it any way that they can. I'm not an art collector but I can appreciate true art. Next time you're setting at a railroad crossing, waiting for the train to pass, look at some of the intriguing graffiti on the rail cars. People spend hours creating the good stuff using only spray cans!
Classic example when old people must retire and get out of business .... They are unable to be aware of new talents, arts and business itself .....

The owner treats it like Banksy hand painted each bill. I remember watching the "exit through the gift shop" documentary which featured a segment where Banksy was making these bills. They're all done on a press 100s (if not 1000s) at a time like the expert said.

Who else saw the piece of Banksys work that "self destructed" on live feed at that auction? He had a condition on the sale of it that it never be re-framed, or sold to a private citizen bc he wanted the $ from the sale to help people. Someone didnt listen or care, and the piece went up for auction. So, he must have been in attendance at the auction because, as soon as the gavel sounded, a shredding mechanism hidden in the frame was remotely activated, and shredded it before a bunch of stunned onlookers.

The problem with Old Man was that he was not grumpy for his age, but he seemed grumpy because he had a good hunch and was usually right. So sometimes he's a genuine businessman on his good mood days, other times he'd be stubborn and get some payback against the others.
