I loved that. It made it so easy, as a listener, to just hear the combined ensemble rather than any one voice standing out, despite using three different instruments in a small group.

The amount of alternate fingerings mr. Velenzcei uses is kinda interesting. All for the sake of intonation, I'm sure, and it's paying off!

Happy V Day everyone! My late folks must have felt bad telling me “no” whenever I bugged them about learning the French Horn in grammar school. Years later we happily learned our ancestral grand pappy played - in 1842 - NY Philharmonic’s first year - French Horn.
It’s not too late to start! I bought a horn and started taking lessons last year, in my late 30s :)
