@@dirtbikesam That's good to hear. I've heard the 250FX has a snatchy on/off throttle which I don't like on a dirt bike. Also heard that the bottom end was improved on the KTM for 2023 so I think I might like it more.
Sherco 300 2t and 4t , Beta 390, 430 ,200, 250 ,300...its a good yard stick to have....heck TT500 , kdx 220 , the much maligned honda 250x.....you run it , I will watch the outcome....lol
I was in 1st the whole way. The only bike that I normally shift between 2nd and 1st on this trail is the KTM 300XCW. I plan on doing a re-match on this ridge trail between the YZ250FX as I messed up the run for the FX which is my fault.

I’ve been on the 2019 model of this bike for 3 years now. Get it out in the desert and it puts a smile on your face! Love it.
Yeah we took it out to the desert. 😊 for sure.
yeah the desert is what its built for but its been too hot haha. We have taken it to the moto track and all my buddies love it.

Yeah a good map setting helped the snatchy throttle on the YZ, the motor on the KTM is fantastic and is a great do it all bike

Good call would love to try ANY of those bikes, its been a while since I have ridden the Beta 300 but never owned or ridden a beta 250 or xtrainer.
If you can get ahold of a sherco 250se or 300se . Either one would be a good bike for that hill.

Take a KTM350XCF and a YZ250X then take a KTM500EXC-F
