Great video! I bought that same midi controller to control SoundSwitch, it has really made it so much easier when DJing. I sure hope they add light feed back on midi controller buttons soon. Would like the little reminder of what bank or auto loop I am in.

I'm a new mobile dj and I have been watching and following your videos. My question is where can I get some helpful videos to set up my mini controller with soundswitch?
How do I change buttons from momentary to toggle on the APC mini? Like after I map my buttons for performance mode, I want to push the mapped button once to black out then push it again to turn my lights back on..
Hi Brian great content, Currently I’m able to make the auto loops work on my other laptop that is connected to the same wifi network as the other laptop with soundswitch and that other laptop is not using soundswitch and works via serato remotes but the scripted tracks do not get triggered when I play the songs that should be scripted only autoloop, maybe I’m missing something or some concept bause when I use serato on the same laptop where soundswitch is the scripted track works The thing is I have a bar and I'll have some djs coming in and I would like to be able to pass them the songs that are scripted and not having to install soundswitch on each computer a dj that comes have Pd: If I use serato on the same computer where soundswitch is the scripted track works
Hey Constancio! SoundSwitch should recognize it as a midi device in the MIDI menu. Once connected you'll need to map the buttons and faders! right click the options in the midi menu and then select what button/fader you want to control it on the Mini and it's set.

Yes and no. You can run SoundSwitch as a lighting controller, however it will work with your static scenes, autoloops and basic midi controls. So you can't necessarily program new shows. think of autoloops as you would scenes or cues in standard lighting software.
