First time STARGAZING & shooting the MILKYWAY!

- Stargazing in Mount Cook/ Mount Aoraki!
Our plan was to do the hooker valley track and stargaze but the weather just wasn’t on our side this time round.
We based most of our trip for this very moment! Stargazing was definitely one of the top things we wanted to do, as city kids we don’t get to enjoy the stars very much. So we checked the moon calendar and even downloaded the skyview app (highly recommend) so we could setup the camera to capture the milkyway. We had thought we had planned for the best photo of the stars, however we never took into consideration the long white cloud... This was the first time Bronson had ever attempted to do astrophotography and will only get better from here as astrophotography has become a huge interest to us now.
We will have three more nights in lake Tekapo to capture a timelapse.
