for me i think bart was better if u judge from gbb rules but this battle wasnt about energy and live performance that much but aboutminor details which can not be heard live but can only be heard after listening to the video multiple times in a peaceful environment

(B-Art was even pointing at D-Low in both of D-Low's rounds)
And it also said D-LOOOOOWWW on B-Art's hoodie in D-Low's second round and that was funny af. 😂

It was a really close battle. I was watching the results last night and I was so nervous for dlow. B-art was seriously a beast in this battle, when I saw the results that the judges were unanimous for dlow, I was a bit disappointed because b-art definitely put on a show. Dlow is insane, but we’re so used with him doing insane stuff that the wow factor slowly disappeared. Meanwhile b-art gave us so many wow factor
well the judging system is different for this tournament, so its understandable
It was ridiculously close. Like 1 or 2 points difference for two of the judges, and a bit more for Alexinho.
Just because it's a 3-0 decision that doesn't mean it was a blowout. At all. So don't put any emotions into that, cause the assumption is flawed.
Dlows wow factor will never whether away when they come up with new beats and snares like he did

There's one thing a lot of competitors need to realise with dlow.if your gonna counter him you need to do it perfectly and then more to outshine him.hes capable of using your routine perfecting it then adding more to it.

Then, I would like to highlight the fact that in B-Art second round he said "in the line of the broken"... And later D-Low replyied with "BROKEN BROKEN, YOUR FLOW IS BROKEN".
So, I would say THAT was the sickest counter of the battle 😁

If you listen dlow beats 2 3 4 5 6 times he is bettet then b art d lows beat such a very unique
But u have to remember, Dlow is Genius man about control the crowd and create atmosphere, he can do a lot thing if it on stage.
And for me, when i watched Dlow vs B-Art on stage at Shootout 2017, World Classic 2018, and GBB2019, B-Art always killed by Dlow on stage, cuz for me B-Art always got nervous. B-Art is not genius like Dlow about control the Crowd. Remember, on stage you have to control the crowd too.
So if you said about Live Perfomance, trust me Dlow will beat B-Art, and this battle is not gonna be even Closed. Like the Battle that happened before.
Dlow is a demond on stage, and B-Art is not really strong like Dlow on stage for me

Finally someone who analyses it and sees that overall D-Low was just better. I can see why at first glance for a non-beatboxer B-Art would easily win in their opinion because of his agressive style of beatboxing. But D-Low's subtle counters (for example him saying switch casually is a counter since he means, I just beat you on your own beats, let me do my own stuff now) , his overall structure, flow & technical parts were just better. Even though B-Art was fucking insane & came really close, D-Low topped it.

D-Low's fronts in the 1st round seemed repetitive and a bit low-effort imo
B-Art said "Look at the chat boi", D-Low said "Look at the comments boi"
B-Art threw a cap, D-Low threw a cap (and B-Art's way of implementing it in his beat was great, plus the cap was actually visible to you, the viewer, as if you are wearing it - also a great show aspect, and imo better than D-Low)

The lyrics man. Both this and his "Why did you do that" suggest that he didn't use inward bass in his 1st round on purpose. He kind of baited D-Low into using his inward bass so he can counter it in his 2nd round
And 15:03 "broken" - B-Art said "broken" during his pre-drop, and D-Low played on those lyrics, just genius. And his first 30 seconds had almost the same pattern and placements as B-Art, but spiced up with his own style, crazy stuff.
B-Art took round 1 for me, but D-Low took round 2. D-Low was also way more consistent and clean in both rounds, so I can see why the judges would give this to D-Low

I've gotta say something to all the people who said dlow didn't deserve it and b art was robbed.dlow won because of his structure and endless sounds but most of all its the finer details most of you missed.if you need to understand what I mean listen to b art over and over each time you will hear sounds you missed before.then do the same for dlow listen over and over and you will hear all of the little bits that you missed and dlow has a lot of fine details.ive spent years in music production and composition and it's tough but instead of people just listening at the prominent sounds and saying b art won listen to the sounds in the background also
