- Australians have offered messages of support for Indigenous acting legend David Gulpilil after he revealed his battle with cancer upon winning a top NAIDOC award. The sixty-six year old film legend was awarded the lifetime achievement award at the 2019 NAIDOC Awards held in Canberra on Saturday.
