The Jefferson Country Store (Part 2)

Cape and I were on our way back from a campus tour at Mississippi State where we passed the neatest little country store in Marengo County, Alabama. I told her to stop in and we could visit "for five minutes." A hour later we left... and what a great visit we had! Come on and go with us, as we shepherd outdoors at the Jefferson Country Store, one of the coolest little stores in the South.

I was raised in a store like this in Dallas, Texas...that was 77 years ago though when Dallas was much, much smaller. It was in the black part of Dallas. They loved us, and we definitely loved them. Thank You, God for my sweet and righteous memories. Thank you, Walt, for allowing me to share!

Omg.... there's a place like that here in ky. That I visit ever so often. It's called "The Ole Country Store."
If you wanna here history stories or the now news, just stop there. Lol... because there is old timers there that will tell you anything you wanna know. Not to mention it feels like your in another time period when at the store. I really didn't think there was another store out in this world like the Ole Country Store. If times was like that now. I just know it would be a better place.

Are you familiar with Perry's store in Kinston, AL? My uncle and aunt PO and aunt Mary Bess owned the store at one time.
