I miss the pre-Nicktoons era of Nickelodeon. My favorites were the 1985 and the 1988 ones (I assume, because we didn't get Nickelodeon until 1987, and I remember both those bumpers).

They looked so much like an art student threw up on an old-school video editing rig and made a collage out of the chunks. Also Bugs (@ 5:19) looks like the announcer held him at gunpoint. SUGGEST MARBLES ONE MORE TIME I SWEAR TO GOD

I could've sworn I remember seeing Double Dare in one of those 1985 bumpers. But I saw some commercials from late August 1986 and it confirmed that they started using the newer bumpers by then.

In the early 90s, Nicktoons were invented. The very first nicktoons were: Doug, Rugrats and Ren and Stimpy.

It had a reboot in 2021, In color. But their is 2 kids, That are played by Emma Bennett and Wesley Foresaw.
All of the promos except for Welcome Freshman were voiced by Wendell Craig.
