    ⚠️PLEASE DON’T DO THIS⚠️
in this video this lady is “breaking in her pointe shoes so that they fit her feet.” no one should be doing this unless they have been on pointe for a long time, and know that this is good for them. my point is, doing all of this to the shoe basically makes the shoe not supportive anymore on your foot-it won’t help you stay up on pointe anymore making it easier to roll your ankle (when a shoe is like this dancers are suppose to get a new pair). so unless you know what your doing and you’ve been on pointe for a while (and you have strong ankles), please do not do this!
edit: to break in the shoes normally, all you need to do is put them on and start doing some exercises and walk on this for a while! no hate to this creator!

Yes, just naturally break them in by dancing in class. Only professional ballerinas dancing in shows every night need to be doing this! And doing this makes the shoes die very quickly. Pro ballerinas will go through shoes very quickly but usually the company will provide them with the shoes.

THIS IS ONLY FOR COMPANY DANCERS/PROFFESIONALS TO ATTEMPT
For a student they must break the shoe during class. Professionals break their shoe so that the shoe can “sculpt” their foot in a way. But they have years doing this and and a LOT of streangth in their ankles which causes them to not need as much support. They still need support though as shown in the video she put glue so that the box stayed firm and other reasons. If teh student were break the shoe it may not mold to theirs feet well and injuries may occur. ❤

I literally thought you were pulling out bread in a fridge at first.... but then saw that it was pointe shoes..... i was good. Lmao 🤣 i love how you have to basically break and bend the shoe, but its for you to fit it to your foot and for comfortability. Loved this ❤❤❤
