I love the way Arroz includes flashbacks like when Baty helped care for Spocky as a baby. I remember Spocky was adorable and active but don't remember Baty being such an attentive and gentle big brother. So glad they have each other now. They really look alike. I bet most visitors to Monkey Hill, even those who visit regularly, just see a bunch of monkeys each time. We are so lucky that Arroz has seen them as individuals from the beginning, and that he's so good at recognizing them even through the changes as they grow up. Because of that, and his exceptional story telling ability, we get to know them as individuals and families too. It makes such a huge difference to be able to know them in that personal way, to get a sense of their personalities and appreciate their relationships with each other. What a gift. Thank you so much for not just filming these animals, but enabling us to know and care for them as individuals. There's just nothing else like this. 🐒❤️🐒

No Dolly isn't dead.. the alpha (their dad) Grandee chased them off. Alphas do this to protect their status but both Baty and especially Spocky are too young to have been ousted by dad..

I have always loved stumpy. I'm not sure how it works but I hope the boys can get with stumpy and they all stick around for a while and take care of each other.

And take them away from this hill and drop them back to their mother and father and their childhood troop . Let these both brothers learn and skill some more talent among their childhood troop to be strong and brave. Batty and spocky are yet naive and innocent and very decent too. They need some more years to be really confident to face the world. Do anything Arroz please take them back to their parents. Now that you have spotted them. Doopey can survive as he was super talented. Batty and spocky yet need shelter and protection of their parents and troop. Please help batty and spocky. God bless you Arroz.

It was nice to see a whole video with Spocky and Bocky and the monkeys they hang around with. Looks to me the older monkeys was a male with females (maybe not only females), maybe a new troop beginning to take form. I've asked this question several times and have never gotten an answer. I always wondered how they "had to leave their troop at 4 or 5 years old" as Arroz put it. How did this happen? Did they just leave voluntarily? Were they run off one day without warning? Did they gradually feel unwelcome? What ACTUALLY happens where they "have to leave their troop by 4 or 5 years old"? Here you say Grandee kicked his boys out. How, did you see the event? Or was Grandee gradually making them feel unwelcome?
I hope the boys stick together. Safety in numbers and all that. I just hope they’re getting enough to eat. I’m still mad at Grandee for kicking them out.

Purple monkeys have likeness rights now? i’m sure they’ll be thrilled to know 🙄 there’s nothing “problematic” about monkeys on t-shirts, except of course for the person wearing it looking like an idiot... i’m confident that the monkeys themselves wouldn’t care less about it from any perspective even if they had the ability (which they don’t).
I always like Grandee but not so much anymore. These boys are still sub-adult (their testes haven’t descended) and won’t be adults for at least another year probably. Why do the bully sons of Bossy (that are adults) get to stay? Spocky just looks so sad.
He didn’t want the boys to breed with there sister(s) cousins etc. so he booted them out of the troop. My personal opinion is it was a tad early but nothing we can do just pray these boys are okay and some point have a beautiful family of their own
Arroz they are all too young to be out on their own, they're too young to defend themselves properly and too young to be interested in the ladies and pose no threat to their birth troop. Not happy Grandee!!!
