ALRIGHT time for this one. The character is (obviously) Doremy Sweet - shes from (maybe) the hardest touhou game, Touhou 15 Legacy of Lunatic Kingdom as the stage 3 boss. She also appears in the extra stage. Since shes the "ruler of the Dream World", she has complete control over dreams, as she can create, enter, stop, remove, and even... eat.. dreams.. But thats not important, probably. She fights you to "get rid of your nightmare", using most if not all of the attacks/spellcards she uses in her actual bossfight of stage 3 and her appearance as the midboss of the extra stage of LoLK. At the end of the bossfight, Doremy brings Isaac to the Hakurei Shrine - where Reimu Hakurei is waiting for him to wake up, and says he can live in the shrine until he finds a home somewhere in Gensokyo. Isaac finally lives a happy ending, I guess.

I literally wrote a self-insert isekai fanfic based on Touhou once and I thought it was cute to see Isaac end up there too. Lil' fella deserved a break.
But Why Fly was a complete troll, that wasn't suposed to be possible without console, and the Touhou one is suposed to be achievable on a normal run. And it is completly overtuned.
It makes sense balance wise since the previous boss is meant to be an alternative to Hush (which is difficult as hell) while this one is an alternative to the Beast, which is one of the weaker final bosses.
Ive been playing this mod for a while. That final boss is way more HARDCORE than it seems. Its not as Mind bending as the Touhou originals. But touhou doesnt have Slippery isaac baby steps. I still love it.
her monolog to isaac at the end is genuinley really sweet. it feels nice seeing someone comofrt isaac and tell him he didnt do anything wrong. poor kid.
I'm not really much of a Touhou fan, but this was seriously one of the best mods I ever played. The ending was very wholesome and the fight with Doremy, though hard, wasn't horribly unbalanced. And I seriously cannot recommend the full version more so. There's one item that comes with it that can make you horribly OP if you play the shops right.
@@arkaua I don't remember the name of it off the top of my head. But if you put 12 coins into it and activate it, it turns all pick ups into their gold versions; including coins! Take that to a shop with the restock and you'll become so horribly broken, even Tainted Cain would be impressed.
The Rainbow Badge is also pretty powerful. It allows you to channel Hong Meiling and dash punch whatever's in your way, releasing danmaku in a circular direction after a successful hit.
You know... I feel like she should have unique dialogue for various types of scenarios: Your actions during the run in the form of transformations, the amount of angel/devil deals you took, and if youre using modded characters like Samael and Andromeda. For instance with Samael she comments on how Samael is a reaper that apparently takes his work more seriously unlike someone she knows who isn't as much.
I've been playing this mod for the past few months and Doremy has always been my final destination. She's incredibly fun and balanced, there isn't a single scenario where you enter the battle and delete her instantly which is a great thing in my opinion. The patterns take time to learn but are also fun. The reverie mod in general is a banger and I can't recommend it enough even if you are not into Touhou. Thank you for covering it.

That would be a nice thing to add special bedroom each floor, when he sleep that trigger a battle against a touhou character, like a side story into the run.

think it would've been a lot better if the fade to black after isaac went to sleep was just a slow fade into a chest zooming out, and then slowly fading away, maybe a snoring or breathing sound coming to a slowdown and then a stop. yeah its a downer i know but i think it would've been a lot more fitting.

hi, i've been your long follower for a while now, and i love the way you create your content, it's just that i have a problem with the bertran character. Mainly after completing the stats to be able to unlock the "cake run", after receiving the item at the start the screen I was stuck on and it only showed 1 cake depending on the theme we selected earlier. I really want to experience cake run and I think there is a problem because I installed many mods ( ≈ 77 pcs ). I'd love if you could respond and then see for me if the problem is with the developer or myself. After looking at steam, I see, the mod now has another problem that bertran doesn't show up and can't do anything but take damage. I fixed it by using the old file and inserting the 2 newest contents including " content " and "resources " . Hope to hear from you as soon as possible. Thank you.

After so many years. Isaac finally got a goood ending. Yeah he died but he also got isekai'd into better place and has smug waifu.
I played this mod a good while ago and beat the secret final boss, very fun recomend playing the mod
