I still have this game on my PlayStation 2 in a compilation called MIDWAY ARCADE TREASURES 2. I used to have the original RAMPAGE on my Commodore 64 and Amiga 500 - and still have it on my PlayStation 2 in a compilation called MIDWAY ARCADE TREASURES. The game is fun to play - especially with friends 😺👍🕹️🕹️🕹️.
A lot of us including myself when we played this game believed that Lizzie was based on godzilla but Brian Colin the game designer for the first rampage game has revealed that Lizzie is actually based off of the Ymir from 20 million miles to Earth. For 2 reasons: 1. Brian Colin was a huge fan of ray Harryhausen including myself I love ray Harryhausen movies. 2. Brian said that Lizzie had to fit in the same frame as George because because he claims that godzilla has a huge ass lol. George was designed after King kong obviously For Ralph there was no inspiration his body is the same as George but they switched the heads
Rampage universal tour was even better , world tour was LIT tho … loved these classic games , modern games don’t have the simplicity of these ones anymore ; which is both good and bad I suppose .
@@virgogaming6488 Yea. Now all I need to figure out is how to get this to work with the Real Time Corrupter along with some cheat codes, game shark or otherwise. This is like my favorite game of all time. I just wish there was a level creator.
Yep, although I think it would take a lot less time with more players. I can't imagine anyone sitting pumping money into this by themselves for 3 hours - I think the number of levels was probably aimed at giving more longevity to the home ports.

A short game, It’s pretty good game, Legends with the Rampage masterpiece and never being fate.
This is a batshit crazy game and I love it. I couldn't remotely stop when I played it on my N64.

I disagree, World Tour had smoother gameplay and the monsters all had their own unique grunts.

Arcade had much better sound than the PS port
