I saw a guy commenting a lot of wrong information saying India’s land grabbing. I’m not Indian, but I know history because I’ve studied it. Here’s all the explanation so people don’t get caught in the lies of his :Hyderabad: The princely state of Hyderabad, under the Nizam, chose to remain independent after independence. But when the Nizam sought to join Pakistan and refused to integrate with India, it led to Operation Polo in 1948, which was a military action to maintain national unity. It wasn’t annexation-it was about ensuring the survival of a unified nation. Junagadh: This region was ruled by a Muslim Nawab who wanted to join Pakistan, despite the majority Hindu population wanting to stay with India. The people of Junagadh wanted to join India, so it was an integration of their will, not a forceful annexation. Manipur and Tripura: These states were never independent in any sense you’re suggesting. Like many other princely states, they were ruled by local monarchs who chose to join India after independence. The claim that the Nagas wanted independence is misleading-the vote in the 1951 plebiscite wasn’t representative of the entire Naga population, and India did not forcefully annex these regions. They joined India through a legal and democratic process. South Tibet: The region you’re referring to as "South Tibet" is Arunachal Pradesh, which has been part of India for centuries. The Chinese claim over it is a fabrication based on their expansionist agenda. India’s control over Arunachal Pradesh is legitimate and legal. Goa: The Portuguese had no business occupying Goa after India gained independence. The Goan people, who had been under Portuguese colonial rule for centuries, were fighting for their freedom. Operation Vijay in 1961 was not an annexation-it was a liberation of Goa from a colonial power that refused to leave. The locals overwhelmingly supported this move, and India was right to act in their best interest. Kalapani, Nepal: This is a misinterpretation of the boundary issue. Kalapani, located at the tri-junction of India, Nepal, and China, has been a disputed area. India’s administration of Kalapani is based on the agreement that the region lies within its borders, and this has been supported by historical treaties. Nepal’s recent claims are politically motivated and lack historical backing. China and Pakistan Aggression: You’re talking about “India's aggression” against China, but you ignore that in 1962, China launched an unprovoked attack on India, violating the borders. India was on the defensive. Similarly, India has been at the receiving end of aggression from Pakistan, especially in 1947 and 1965, when Pakistan attempted to destabilize India through military attacks. Turtuk, Pakistan: The claim that India “annexed” Turtuk is misleading. Turtuk was part of the region India controlled after the 1947 Partition and the subsequent wars with Pakistan. It was never Pakistan's territory to begin with. Tin Bigha, Bangladesh: This was a border demarcation issue between India and Bangladesh, not an annexation. In fact, India and Bangladesh exchanged territories to improve bilateral relations, not to expand territory. Sikkim: Sikkim was a protectorate of India, and its decision to merge with India was a democratic choice. The local population wanted to join India, and it was not an imposition by the Indian government. The people of Sikkim chose to become part of India through a referendum in 1975. Attempts at Mauritius, Bhutan, Myanmar: These claims about attempts to invade Mauritius, Bhutan, and Myanmar are not only false but utterly ridiculous. India has maintained friendly relations with these countries, and there is no historical evidence of any such attempts. You’re fabricating history without any factual backing. Now, let’s talk about his claim that India "gave land to China" and that Pakistan was somehow set up to destroy India. The truth is, India never gave up land to China willingly. China forcefully took control of Aksai Chin during the 1962 war. The claim about Pakistan is also a distortion of facts-India has consistently sought peace with Pakistan, but Pakistan's constant aggression and attempts to destabilize India through terror attacks are well documented. To sum it up, what he's calling “expansionism” is actually the process of integrating various territories into a unified country post-independence, in line with the will of the people, to prevent further fragmentation and to ensure national unity. He can twist history however he likes, but facts don’t change. India didn’t grab land-it consolidated regions that were already a part of its cultural and historical heritage. So, before he passes such sweeping judgments, it’s crucial to do some actual research instead of parroting baseless claims. His statements are based on a distorted understanding of history.

China's land grab in Bhutan is the price the Bhutanese are now paying for not standing up to the Chinese bully. Despite the Bhutanese people having tremendous reverence for His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the Tibetan Nobel Peace Laureate, the leadership in Bhutan have never invited His Holiness to visit the Buddhist country even for purely religious purposes, for fear of offending the totalitarian Chinese regime. Bhutan also has sided with China when voting at the UN even on human rights issues relating to the suffering people in occupied Tibet. Unfortunately, all these China appeasing seems to have been in vain!
Roger disqualified himself whatever his insinuations. Taiwan (ROC) maintains claims based on the original map and controls the Dongsha (Pratas) Islands and Taiping (Itu Aba) Island, the largest feature in the Spratlys. India was the first country to recognise PRC as a non-socialist bloc country. India is repaid with the Chinese style gratitude. Any dog is loyal and grateful, that’s why the Chinese despise dogs 😂
India did recognize the People's Republic of China (PRC) early on, but the relationship has been far from simple. While India extended diplomatic recognition, China's actions, especially after the 1962 war, have shown a different side of the relationship. It's important to separate political actions from national character-generalizing like this only stirs up unnecessary animosity. The key here is to focus on mutual respect and diplomacy, not resorting to derogatory comparisons.
@ So CCP’s China has explicitly broken all diplomacy you’re talking about by always being the perpetrators in breaking into territory 🤷🏻 2020,2021, 2022, and 2024 August. India is not behind a firewall and the federal government is not oblivious to facts. Beijing has been manufacturing anti-India narratives on the internet which was discovered by India’s foreign intelligence R&AW. People are not stupid to go along with this. Indian stock exchange, which is the first stock exchange in Asia, has been reporting average profits above 20% for Fdi since the inception of it. Numerous groups and countries will come together if China fires even a single bullet. Apart from the emotions: China never showed diplomacy, never tried to be a friend, never any gratitude. CCP’s China should be happy that India is not changing Free Tibet or Free HK every single day.

Your argument is built on several flawed premises, and it’s important to clarify a few facts. Bhutan has a proud history of never being colonized, a rare and remarkable achievement. It has maintained its sovereignty through careful diplomacy and a strong sense of national identity. Bhutan is a small nation, but it has charted its own path, emphasizing Gross National Happiness (GNH) as a unique development philosophy that prioritizes the well-being of its people over mere economic metrics. Bhutan has made significant strides in development, particularly in education, healthcare, and environmental conservation. Despite its size, Bhutan performs better on many social indicators compared to developing countries much larger and wealthier. It is also a global leader in environmental sustainability, being the world’s only carbon-negative country. These achievements contradict the assumption that Bhutan needs external intervention, especially from a country with a track record of territorial aggression. The suggestion that Bhutan would benefit under Chinese rule ignores the history of China’s illegal encroachments on Bhutanese territory. Such actions reflect China’s disregard for Bhutan’s sovereignty and independence. Far from bringing economic or social progress, such aggression undermines Bhutan’s stability and national identity. Using Tibet as a "good case" is misleading. The Tibetan people’s culture, religion, and autonomy have suffered greatly under Chinese rule, and reports of human rights abuses are well-documented. The economic development in Tibet has often come at the cost of marginalizing local traditions and benefiting settlers from other parts of China more than the indigenous population. Bhutan’s relationship with India is built on mutual respect and partnership, not domination. India has supported Bhutan’s economic and infrastructural development without compromising its sovereignty. The successes of hydropower projects and other bilateral collaborations are testaments to this partnership. Bhutan is not a country yearning for domination or assimilation by any power. It values its independence and cultural heritage deeply, as evidenced by its careful, gradual approach to modernization. Bhutan will continue to thrive as an independent nation, balancing tradition with progress, on its own terms. Bhutan is a beacon of how a small nation can uphold its independence and focus on the holistic well-being of its people. Any suggestion that it should be subsumed under another country ignores both history and the values that define Bhutan. It will remain independent-proudly and successfully.

Look, I’m not Indian, but I’ve got to call out the glaring inaccuracies in your statement. First off, to say that India is an "expansionist" state is laughable when you fail to understand the actual historical context behind each of these regions. You seem to have misunderstood or conveniently ignored key facts. Hyderabad: The princely state of Hyderabad, under the Nizam, chose to remain independent after independence. But when the Nizam sought to join Pakistan and refused to integrate with India, it led to Operation Polo in 1948, which was a military action to maintain national unity.
Well kalapani has been always part of Nepal. BUT nepal can not do anything about it since nepal is very much dependent on INDIA
