I think Robert can do it again" he's still well able after all these years" the entire being of Freddy was blueprinted from Robert Englund
Nobody can play Freddy. You just cannot replicate his personality that he puts in Freddys character. No disrespect to the other actor in the remake, but you cannot replace what Robert puts into the Freddy character.
Along with brad douriff you cant replace him

Even though I don't care for reboots, especially when scenarios are reused, I think a remake would be acceptable if they would just use practical effects again. I've seen very few instances when CGI actually worked well with real people and settings, practical effects are just naturally more impressive when done well. John Carpenter's The Thing is a great example of this.

The problem with the reboot is not the actor, it is the filmmaker, the film is nothing more than the usual horror movie and the film is so clean and polite. We need an independent filmmaker who has balls enough to change the Hollywood Status Quo. Those things are possible.
the OG part of the reboot was a pool party just like in part 2 and I love too see more of the Cut parts in the Reboot too and If they do make another one Robert should be in it before we lose him too he is getting up there and Wes death was a shock I was crying all day over that.

Come on Robert! Doug Bradly is playing Pinhead again in the new Hellraiser remake that's in the Works right now. If hes able to Play Pinhead still, then you're definitely not too Old to Play Freddy again. When You put on the Freddy make-up at That Comic-con event last year, You still looked exactly like the Freddy from the 80's. Stop 2nd guessing yourself & Just do it! Thats what all of you're fans are asking for. We dont wanna see another actor fuck up you're legacy again, like Jackie did.

About a year ago on wikipedia it said that Doug was gonna return to play Pinhead again & that Clive Barker was gonna write & direct it, but it looks like Doug backed out. It's too bad. Would have been really cool to see. At least Bruce Campbell's back for Ash Vs Evil Dead. The 1st Season of that was incredible.
You can't trust everything on Wikipedia.It goes through user edits some of it can be wrong.I am part of a horror group on Facebook Without Your Head Horror Radio program.Host by my friends there who interviewed him last year.And he told us all not weep over his departure from the series.He absolute disliked what the studio did to the character and the franchise some of it doesn't feel like a Pinhead film.Could've been another film that they just decide to throw Pinhead in the film at last min.Because us fans of the series will pretty much eat it up even when it's a bad film.

I personally loved the remake the actor had a brought a different flair which is amazing I think Robert is amazing too my personal opinion no matter which actor I think between Robert an the Guy from (watchmen) those two actors I only love them Any other actor besides those two is garbage an in respect Robert paved the way for the freddy funny part about this video is they brought him back as a cameo in sitcom Goldbergs 2018 which I do believe was 4 years ago

don't forget that the character freddy was a child killer and then some and if I recall from several years ago mr englund had mental health problems after playing a child murdering pedophile ,doug bradly's character pinhead was a man possessed by a demon who's only purpose was the collection of deviant souls via the puzzle box,.."what is your pleasure sir" sot of played on the forbidden pleasure's of humans.
