I totally agree I have the same learning background diff styles prior too studying a master's. But Matt you inspire me too play more, what a great composition
@@MattPalmerGuitar it sounds very nice. I won’t bore you with compliments about your playing, you’ve heard it all by now, and it is all true. Hopefully someday I can do a three finger scale, yeah right
Watch his rendition of Villa Lobos Etude No. 2 This guy is a technical monster. But it's not about the difficulty of a piece, the Its the beauty and the color it emulates. Besides the virtuoso l hard pieces like Rodrigo, Scarlatti and Paganini are the bitch to maintain. You end up spending all your time practicing them to maintain them. I like what Matt does these days.
❤❤❤
Only other guitarist haters will dislike something like this
Amazingly beautiful Matt, so melodic so much passion...
Superb! I listen to this recording very often. Many thanks.
Wow. I’m sold.
Magnificent! Thank you for sharing.
Woww! Loved the piece! And it looks very difficult to play too. Well done Matt!
Beautiful ! Love this !
Bravo !! ♥
Beautiful!

I am skeptical that you are mortal or that the guitar is not from the supernatural world. A perfect pairing.

Master guitarist all the way in every way. Who made this guitar, Mat? Is it doubletop?
Thanks! This is a balsa core double top by Michael Thames 👍🏻

Where did you get the music sheet for this?? Very nice playing
I got it in the mail from the composer. It seems the book is only published in Russia. It may be difficult to find elsewhere?
