@@aldogjipali2835 They never raced against each other because she didn't do any F1 series racing. Indy Cars, 7 times on the podium, 63 top 10's, and led 124 laps. Have you forgotten that she raced in several different auto racing series and mostly did well? NASCAR was disappointing but she did better there than the previous 118 female drivers did since 1949. So far, no NASCAR female drivers have done better than her either. How much professional auto racing success have you had? I bet NONE !
More Danica please! Every F1 round her insights over the race weekend is what was needed as a recent driver at the top level

Michael Dark, Obviously, she was 100% focused on what she was doing. At 5'2' tall and 99 pounds, I'm still amazed over what she accomplished as a race car driver. She had far more physical endurance than many of the male drivers, especially in NASCAR where inside car temps can reach 125+ degrees during mid summer months and the races can last for 4-6 hours.

You can really appreciate the speed of F1 cars in corners after seeing this video. That passenger makes all kind of faces and on video it looks so damn slow and dull. Surely it's neither in reality

19 seconds difference per lap my man.
In a 2 lap race the F1 car can change tires after the first lap and still cream the Indy car by the end of the lap.

I really enjoyed Danica, thought she had a great presenting style and came with so much insight and a different experience than we’re used to in F1. Danica and Jenson brought so much knowledge and could explain it to us in an entertaining and engaging way.

Pushing a stock car around a road course fast takes a lot of skill. Like Danica said “There’s a lot more car to move”. Shes right and that is what surprised me the most watching stock cars close up on a road course. Super early rotations and larger than expected slip angles. The weird thing is that detail doesn’t seem to come through the TV, they look planted. Unfortunately that takes away from the perception of driver skill in nascar.
Love her.. She is gorgeous and smart but look her face focus on the turns . Great stuff..

Hey SKYF1, give Danica an F1 gig and watch those US numbers light up! Her racing pedigree gives her entrance to the "club" and she is a very insightful commentator if the producer doesn't feed her a bunch of puff content. Still looks pretty good, too.
100% agree in regards to US popularity. SKY or ESPN should offer her a track commentator gig. She looks 100% focused in the car, while also having a bit of fun.

Probably because she never exceeded 70 mph. I say this because we never heard a tire squeal, more than a 3 of gear changes, or the engine ever really rev out.

What part of paddle shifting did you not see/hear? She was paddle shifting quite often.
@@sergeantmasson3669 I didn't see her paddle shirting. When I was hearing the engine her right hand was still which means she did nothing to change gear.
@@steliosgr9076 early in the run, she shifted with the left paddle. The transmission is a dual clutch 7 speed that can shift faster on it's own quicker than the driver can shift it manually.
Danica is an amazing driver ex-racer she hasn't driven on road tires and also not driven COTA and not driven a 720s

In 2022, Even a F1 car is much closer to a regular automatic with peddle shifter then the old fashion clutch/stick, btw, most car nowaday can do both auto mode and peddle up/down without the need to switch mode! what era you are in? get real!

I understand now why she wasn't so good in NASCAR. She is to little and not enough weight she could do better if she put on 20 pounds
