It is so great to see how you learn your younger followers to respect nature! I think you have an important job to do and you do it very good!! Respect!!
A honey super consists of a box in which 8-10 frames are hung. Western honeybees collect nectar and store the processed nectar in honeycomb, which they build on the frames. When the honeycomb is full, the bees will reduce the moisture content of the honey to 17-18% moisture content before capping the comb with beeswax. Beekeepers will take the full honey supers and extract the honey. Periods when there is an abundant nectar source available and bees are quickly bringing back the nectar, are called a honey flow. During a honey flow, beekeepers may put several honey supers onto a hive so the bees have enough storage space. Honey supers are removed in the fall when the honey is extracted, and before the hive is winterized, but enough honey is left for the bees to consume during Winter.
TheRichBoy 101 one way is to use a special knife to decap the honeycomb then the frames are placed in an extractor which removes the honey by centrifugal force (spinning) then a spigot at the bottom of the extractor allows the honey to be placed into containers. Boom.
I love these videos Taras and if I wasn't living in the city I would definitely start my own hive and hopefully once I got them up and healthy I could sell my honey .
Hope you do videos of the hives when they are making honey and that and then videos on how to collect the honey from the hives. Love your videos keep up the good work
I love fresh honey. my cousin does the same thing as you doing. he even gave me chuck of honey comb I Chow it get the honey out the comb thanks Taras for sharing your videos
It's so amazing to see all the perfectly made honeycomb. Super cool video. Is there a reason the hive boxes are white? Will you made a video of you harvesting the honey?
u should put thin wax foundation in your honey supers for the bees to have something to build on that way they will build straight in the frames and will draw the wax out faster to get u mor honey. 🍯 if you r jaring ur honey with the comb in it use foundation with no wires , if u use a extractor use foundation with wires. just a few words of wisdom from a Ol' beekeeper.keep up the good work ur doing fine!! you'll learn over time! 🌾🐝
just a tip always check for the queen before setting down the lid or any part of the hive! you could accidentally squish her and then the hive could be greatly affected! also marking the queen makes her easier to spot and less likely to get injured
Taras Kul, you should use the four frames that you took out of those super frame things and make like an ultra hive out of those and an empty box to add to an already existing hive.

Taras...When Will You Collect The Honey?? And How Please.
TheRichBoy 101, with a scraper. And he puts it into a jar.
TheRichBoy 101 one way is to use a special knife to decap the honeycomb then the frames are placed in an extractor which removes the honey by centrifugal force (spinning) then a spigot at the bottom of the extractor allows the honey to be placed into containers. Boom.
TheRichBoy 101 I would love a tutorial for that!
