- This video features flight NT524 from Las Palmas Airport in Gran Canaria to Arrecife Airport in Lanzarote, on board Binter Canarias (ops. Naysa) ATR 72-500, EC-KGI.
We perform a self pushback using reverse thrust, and taxi out to Runway 03R via a lot of interesting regional traffic. A very quick takeoff follows due to the very gusty winds on Gran Canaria, followed by a fast climb up to our low cruising altitude to Lanzarote. We approach Lanzarote from the South, flying along the coast with more beautiful views as we approach Runway 03.
Listen carefully, and you'll be able to hear one of the pilots acknowledging ATC instructions over the PA rather than the radio!

I'm always impressed by the performance of a light aircraft taking off in a stiff headwind . What a great climb rate ! .... Another great video , one I will enjoy viewing many times again ... well done Dan .
