The skill makes most of the projectiles follow the enemy for an almost guaranteed hit. Extra crit=more damage=less time spent killing enemies. 4:20 I disagree that the extra coin is useless. The amount of coins you have will be half the gems you will get after the game. How they calculate the gems you get is like this. (number of levels you completed x 50gems) + (x amount of coins you have + x number of enemies you killed) / 2 = x number of gems you get. Taking out the extra coin feature would be treating it like trash of what was already a one-dimensional character.
Things with the extra coin anf the amount of gems obtained, by the time of even thinking using it, you probably have more than enough gems to be spent on, and theres little to no reason to grind for that much gems once all gems buyable thing bought Personally, i use that skill only for the home in effect it has, to try out some weapon that seems op with homing projectile

I forgot to mention that his buff also doesn't fit with his starter weapon. It doesn't have a burst type and it only affects his first skill. Unlike Wizard which has a buff that would fit not only her starter weapon but also all of her skills. Why not give Officer the Accuracy buff? Elf, back then, had that buff before switching her buff to what we know as Charging Buff. Why not give him that?
Part of the problem with Officer is also his buff. It can be strong, but only if you get a certain type of weapon that doesn't even equate to a tenth of the total weapon pool. I think the problem with the buff can be solved by either making more weapons able to use it or the healthier option of giving it a second, more universal effect like increasing firing rate per hit or something.
@@AbubakarRaji-c2z the main idea behind it was for his gun spin, since it's a stack skill, but the main proponent weapons for it's use is actually the burst fire weapons, which aside from the assault sniper all become some of the most energy to damage efficient weapons in the game with the buff. Spinning axes, gold crab hammer, reforged sword, bloodsword and Mo dao can use it among the melees, but outside of Rogue Iado or Werewolf Bloodthirst, very few of the melee focused characters can actually take advantage of this buff. It's most notable use cases right now are for Necromancer Omen Stone (turning it into an attack that can hit the entire room), witch ice spikes, and demonmancer Eligos (adds another minimum swipe to it's active use, giving it both additional range and power), which are all options that are strong at close or medium range.
I'd have the following ideas, just to spice it up. For his 1st skill, I think it should just be 2 charges, 3 bullets per charge. The problem with the ability is that unlike Alch's 2nd where having 3 charges makes sense because of greater control, there's absolutely no reason for him to tap the skill button up to 6 times just to load bullets, it eats precious time. So, 2 taps, 3 per each. Make the upgraded version a roll as well. 2nd, why not have the ability be a pet buff, instead of you getting bonuses, it makes it so you force your pet to attack it giving it faster attack speed. Upgrade taunts enemies versus that affected target 3rd probably just needs it to ve in a triangle shape really instead of a line with a chance to drop a small nuke.
I can give an example how to fix Officer's skill. 1st skill update: Officer uses a rifle or shotgun and cooldown stays the same or slightly increase it, the weapon deals 15 damage (for shotgun, each bullet deals five damage, rifle deals full 15 damage) 2nd skill update: Officer's skill can hit 2 or 3 targets at once instead of just one (can even hit one more due to his signature buff), chance of coin drop can stay as feature 3rd skill update: Officer's skill summons 2 or 3 planes (and just like the second skill can spawn one more), the planes drop bomb for certain period of time and then dissapear For the first one, let's say both weapons can be included, normaly Officer will use a shotgun, but after getting Major's buff he changes it into the rifle
I’m not exactly an Officer main, but here are my ideas: Officer’s first skill will gain +1 charge after taking any sort of damage during battles and it stacks and can go above the normal charge limit (maximum limit is 10-12), Officer second skill gets the kill streak thing but by killing tagged enemies instead Officer’s third skill will auto-use and reset it’s cooldown when armor reaches 0 and become a nuke if officer’s HP is at 1
Okay hear me out. His peacemaker skill should have a head cont, in wich each kill adds a damage multiplier to all damage, that in itself would make it a lot more attractive of a skill and not the useless slop it currently is. His "aim" skill should have you be able to put targets on multiple enemies, with a damage multiplier that is inversely proportional to the amout of targets. Idr if it has 100% crit, but if it doesn't it should. And his airstrike should be made to cover a wider area, or, in a cross patern.

The first skill would be more fun if it reloaded all the bullets at once, each kill reduces the skill reload time and increases the damage. The second skill could have some changes but for me it's fine, it's like the necromancer's first skill and when I mean the same I mean usefulness when it comes to defeating enemies faster and more efficiently The third skill is a mess you can clean small rooms, but big ones not so much, that could be fixed if Instead of leaving a trail of fire, leave small bombs Another problem you forgot to mention is the mentor buff, mentor buffs suck with all officer skills, especially the third one
Pretty good vid, but as for me i think the solution could be better For the first skill: Everytime you press skill, you hold the revólver as a secundary weapon (knight 2nd skill) and for every Click, you have an increased chance to land an addtional bullet when you use your normal one, and hold skill button for 3 seconds, make you shoot all bullets. The gameplay will be like this, press skill 1/3 times, and then spam your weapon, if you get 3 clicks, 3/10 clicks will summon a bullet from the revólver, so you spam your starter weapon and got a chance to land a hit, if you hold the skill, you will lose your stacks but will shoot all 6 bullets. So it stop becoming an "primary dmg skill" and turns into an secundary dmg skill, like arkane knight or physist For the 2nd skill, its pretty simple, you should be able to hold the skill, and a radar effect will be on the ground, (like demonmancer 1st skill) it will become larger, the longer you Hold, and any enemy who touch the radar, will get a mark, if theres only one enemy, all your hits will crit, and will got the auto aim, but even better, no one bullet will miss, if theres 2-4 enemys, all the 4 enemys will become marked, low auto aim, but the bullet will bounce beetwen then, lowering the damage into 20% for every bounce (like paladin) And if theres more than 4 enemys, 0 auto aim, but the bullets will bounce This will turn him a little more fun character even if its not that OP And for the 3rd im satisfied with this, but it could be better if Every time you land the plane, instead of just one wave, it stay flying close to us, dealing 1,2,3 waves of fire, before going out and start the skill Cooldown, but you should be able to cancel the skill before the waves It will become like rogue 3rd, but instead of hold, you press Gameplay: just press the skill, you will hear the engine of the plane and soon he will drop fire, you could click on skill again, so the plane goes away, or you could let the skill untouch, so after a few seconds another plane will come, if you don't press skill anytime, the 3 planes will come, if you manage to Control the cooldown, by tapping the skill, you should be able to land 4-5 planes For mentor upgrades 1st skill: one extra skill stack, chance to not consume bullets 2nd: Bullets now deal more crit dmg 3rd: beetwen 1-2 planes, and 3rd Will appear and shoot bullets, like a flying torret from enginner
Simple passive rework: Passive: Evade Description: gives officer i-frames when scoring a shot on a mob Cooldown: 1 second i-frames: invulnerable to 1 hit for 0.5 seconds (if you're not hit then the i-frames disappear after 0.5 secs) Note: cooldown only starts after i-frame is over
@@AbubakarRaji-c2zi forgot everytime of EMP skill, all the times i use the first skill, and is because it is a good skill, has a bad thing that is the slowdown on the character, but in general is a good skill
@@hollowknightbr8844 nah I actually think emp is better since it can be used defensively to break bullets(this game seriously favours builds that either have s or some kind of barrier that blocks/breaks projectiles, otherwise having such good dps and aoe that the enemies die before they shoot, robots first skill doesn't really do either).
My idea of improving his skills: 1st skill can consume other weapons (maybe limit it to only pistors, rifles and explosibe if its too op) to give the skill gun a buff (+1 Dmg and a chance for the shots to bounce off or pierce). Bascially, when having the skill gun, you can press the special button to consume nearby weapons. 2nd skill could also debuff the enemy. Its single target so idk how to improve it. 3rd skill could instead of calling 1 air strike, call multiple planes to come for some time and throw bombs. It would work simmilar to the miner skill that calls sandworms, but its slower and leaves fire.
2nd skill should be added to his combo buff passive can be triggered when you hit an enemy with skill and basic attack either you can mark all enemies or one at a time, while 3rd skill should have more planes in it.
They should change his Passive into something more useful and thematic just like what they did on witch/wizard, I was thinking the Increase accuracy and crit chance would be great Also turning his main weapon into a shotgun would be great, because his first skill is already a revolver

here's how i think officer's skills should be rebalanced gun spin: it should be more like witch's third skill where it charges up over time and when you press the skill button you actually fire the gun instead of it taking up the weapon slot bounty tag: it's fine as is but in my opinion you could make other enemies target whoever you tagged the bounty of; that makes it more like a bounty tag and less like a more crits vs that one enemy button. with the combo hit passive you could make it two bounties at once, and humanoid enemies enemies (like the monkeys in relics) try to hunt bounties way more than non-humanoid ones close air support: make it omnidirectional instead of just horizontal and MAYBE throw a second plane in after the first one with the combo buff, perhaps you could make it's aoe bigger

bruh, just try officer 2nd skill with common staff of nature in bossrush or even normal game. staff of nature is super easy to obtain, or even craft, and it can destroy bosses in 5 sec with officer 2nd skill without even any buffs.
I've been confused for long time about some similar skills. Which one is the best; Sword Master's 2nd skill (Wisps of Clouds), Trap Master's 3rd skill (Hat Trick), or Taoist's 1'st skill (Genesis of Swords)?
Officer, Element Envoy and Priestess are criminally underrated. They're badly balanced, but they're all useful in some way: Officer is great in Boss Rush; Element Envoy has infinite energy and massive damage, even if he has bad stats; and last but not least, Priestess is a FUCKING healer, of course she's bad if you play alone, you're supposed to play her in multiplayer mode. People just don't understand that a character doesn't have to be Tier A or S to be unique. It's a Roguelike game, you have to upgrade the character while playing, of course it's bad at the start, but with decent RNG you easily win even with Element Envoy.
Wdym Element Envoy does massive damage? I don't think his base weapon is that good, he has bad stats, his skill is kinda useless bc it spawns in a random location, so u can't even get full use of it to make good chains or block bullets.
@@rowlet. the skill does pretty good damage and tanks a lot. I DON'T FUCKING CARE ABOUT STATS AND NO ONE, AND I MEAN, NO ONE, CARES ABOUT STARTER WEAPONS. They're useful sometimes, but IT'S A FUCKING ROGUELIKE, WHY THE HELL DO YOU EVEN KEEP A STARTER WEAPON IF YOU FIND LEGENDARIES?
@@Marx_the_Jester It's a shame that they didn't make the skill spawn on top of u when u used it, I really thought that it would do that when it was first announced. It may do decent damage but the randomness is whack and sometimes u can't even get valuable damage when it spawns in a bad spot. Also I included the starter weapon for the question to ask how it does massive damage.
It's more noticeable with weapons that has a shotgun feature. I said it like that because Staff of Frost which is a staff weapon also has a shotgun feature. Frost Sword has one too.
am I the only one that actually thinks officer is pretty decent? 2nd skill + staff of nature or staff of relic flames or similar weapons is an easy and cheap boss rush clear

For mentor upgrades

u can shoot 5 bullets with 3 reloads if u do it really fast master double shot first.
Maybe Should Be Have Some Powerful Buffs To Get Stronger To Trying Officer 😅
WOWWW, i love this❤❤
here's how i think officer's skills should be rebalanced
gun spin: it should be more like witch's third skill where it charges up over time and when you press the skill button you actually fire the gun instead of it taking up the weapon slot
bounty tag: it's fine as is but in my opinion you could make other enemies target whoever you tagged the bounty of; that makes it more like a bounty tag and less like a more crits vs that one enemy button. with the combo hit passive you could make it two bounties at once, and humanoid enemies enemies (like the monkeys in relics) try to hunt bounties way more than non-humanoid ones
close air support: make it omnidirectional instead of just horizontal and MAYBE throw a second plane in after the first one with the combo buff, perhaps you could make it's aoe bigger
His first skill is high risk with not much rewards
Exactly
The thing is: he is weak, but fun to use, i would rather him than other characters, especially in multiplayer, because i enjog his skills(mainly 1st)
GO to the boss Rush with officer with no weapon and 2 skill
Guy there actually glitch money you pick any hero and use the pet name 10%off while active the bug buster feature friend raining cats and dog then you make increase their number on the level 2 then you go the reforge spend your money and do it every when exceed your specific goals lets your self die in the next level.
They hot patched it.
nah officer is cracked. officer 2 + hero bow + shotgun buff + ammo pouch = magic bow on steriods
You shouldn't need all that to make a character good.
I still enjoy using him and pretty much win more while using officer
W, this aint even clickbait
My thoughs: chillyroom forgot about legendary characters
Chiliroom please buff the costume prince
finally
Hey, Costume Prince 2nd Skill Had Buffed Since From 6.3.0 Update 😊
@@johngrimaldo2008 i'm not seriosly
@@skibidisigmo ....
Yh costume prince needs to be nerfed actually lol
bruh, just try officer 2nd skill with common staff of nature in bossrush or even normal game. staff of nature is super easy to obtain, or even craft, and it can destroy bosses in 5 sec with officer 2nd skill without even any buffs.
Officer's 2nd skill is a boss killer with some shotgun weapon
All weapons with shotgun feature. It's evident when using the Staff of Frost. Rainbow Gatling Gun is a good one.
5:07 Shouldve changed the wording with spin ToT
They need to buff all the special heroes too especially elemental envoy lol
Net guy from 4th layer has a massive range when i use the bug event
The Beheaded cry in the corner
I've been confused for long time about some similar skills. Which one is the best; Sword Master's 2nd skill (Wisps of Clouds), Trap Master's 3rd skill (Hat Trick), or Taoist's 1'st skill (Genesis of Swords)?
Me doing glass cannon with officer
For me
Officer 2nd skill is just as good as first skill...
I don't use much of his 3rd skill
No sé inglés, pero el oficial es mi personaje favorito y por lo que entiendo lo van a buffear o lo pueden buffear? Si es así me enamoró aún más
They give too little bugs in event mode.
I used to give 400 each, but why did it decrease to 200?
He is outdated...he was my favorite character 2 years ago
the only thing they should fix now is stop dropping skins with boobies but focusing on make updates better
Maybe just make the first skill without CD like fighter
bro you're from South-Asia right? what's the server time of Philippines?
I had turned priest into berserker lite with 2nd ability + trumpet
@@rowlet. the skill does pretty good damage and tanks a lot.
@@maximilianomartincastrocor8883 I did that too
@@Marx_the_Jester It's a shame that they didn't make the skill spawn on top of u when u used it, I really thought that it would do that when it was first announced. It may do decent damage but the randomness is whack and sometimes u can't even get valuable damage when it spawns in a bad spot. Also I included the starter weapon for the question to ask how it does massive damage.
I didnt even know its bounty tag can auto aim
It's more noticeable with weapons that has a shotgun feature. I said it like that because Staff of Frost which is a staff weapon also has a shotgun feature. Frost Sword has one too.
am I the only one that actually thinks officer is pretty decent?
2nd skill + staff of nature or staff of relic flames or similar weapons is an easy and cheap boss rush clear
How do I got the gold star under my character when I choose it ? I have a star but idk how to turn it gold
holy shit...
i just want officer waifu skin
5:05 WTHHHHH‽‽‽‽
Problem with what💀
💀💀💀
Bro dont you get bored playing soul knight always 😅
Hello bro There's a huge bug, so I'm reporting it It's a bug in the new debug mode Get 10% off your pet, turn on debug mode, enter the game, grab a mob, increase your pet, and continue to strengthen your weapon in the furnace, and the coin grows to infinity Please fix this bug 😁👍
Pretty sure they fixed that.
Officer is one of my favorite characters, both in terms of fun and skins. Is he weak? I don't care, costume prince was strong when he came out, he is pretty good now, and i used him like 3 times, while i still sometimes play officer
Buff Assassin
maybe update soon buff offlcer
0:32 the problem is the skin is ugly ahh why are you useing it
