I think the build up to his fight is one of the best ever done in gaming, Everyone in your party has a reason to go after him. He murdered several people, including one right before your eyes. You got a chance to see Madea and Trode uncursed, and have all the motivation behind you to end him, and the fight before this had him toying with you with his clones. And then when you finally end him, you realize he isn't even the main villain.
I liked hearing this theme music during the super tough major dragonic ultimate boss battles on the post game version and selecting a prize after defeating the most powerfully strongest gigantic dragons one at a time.
I got scared when I realized that I had to fight Dhoulmagus so I looked up places to grind metal slimes and I got my characters up to Level 37 I think- *the grind was not worth it*
Absolutely the same story. Was a wee young teen when I played this and getting pretty much destroyed during the first time brought me to grind 10 levels or so. Yeah. Taught me a lesson about the importance of difficulty at an early age.

This was a checkpoint fight in this game. You needed to be a certain level, have certain skill perks and (to top it all off) decent gear. Otherwise, you’re toast.
I've heard Dragovian Trials were hard as fuck so I was kinda scared at first Beat them all on first try xD Vermilion Dragon, Gosh I totally hate this one, is the hardest imo (Ironically the first) Whenever you feel like you have a sure hit, he blinds you or intimadte you, is a total asshole Emerald Dragon, easy as fuck Silver Dragon, same as before, a bit longer as he likes to ice wave Gold Dragon, easy Darksteel Dragon, easy, gotta thank it to the metal slimes, always with a spear and axe in inventory xD. I think he is the only one who doesn't pull desperate attacks Divine Dragon, moderate, the combo of intimidate, tension up and ice wave makes battle long and tedious All the previous second round, all were easy save that fucker Vermillion Dragon. Ultimate Dragon was troublesome, he is esentially a power up version of Divine Dragon, yet it was all about patiently waiting for him to make a mistake with his moveset
If he does cold breath to you on 100 tension you're basically dead. I wiped out twice to that. I had tough luck :( Now on lvl 70 tho, my main hero and Yangus can survive that as it deals 700 and they have that much.
