I'm pretty sure what you're seeing there is a "Beaver Tail" which is an inflow jet. Serious business, no doubt. If it is, then the wall cloud which would spin-up a tornado would have been pretty much right over you, perhaps a little bit off (your relative) "right." That's a serious storm, right there.
