Iceborne is an expansion for the base game World. MHW would have been everybody's favorite but Iceborne added a harder difficulty and doubled the monster that the base game had including the hardest monsters in the series so people ofc are gonna love this
The girl thats with you is the one that does the scientific half of your work. Paperwork ,what was killed, how big it was specifically, any individual habits or differences, time it took to kill, etc. She's the field scientist. And the fact that she can keep up with the work the protagonist gives her by hunting at the rate that we do ,without complaints is impressive. We had another handler for in canon like,a week, because the regular one was out due to personal reasons. She remarked she was exhausted by trying to keep up with us for only a week .
Beotodus: Piscine Wyvern. Basically a snow shark, like you said. Banbaro: Brute Wyvern. Massive caribou monster that crashes through everything and throws huge balls of debris at you by scooping it up with its horns. They're an invader species, so you can find them just about anywhere. Viper Tobi-Kadachi: Fanged Wyvern. Subspecies of the Tobi-Kadachi from the previous video. While Tobi-Kadachi is a lightning monster, Viper specializes in poison instead. Nightshade Paolumu: Flying Wyvern. Subspecies of the Paolumu from the previous video. Paolumu shoots bursts of air to knock targets around, while Nightshade fires off a sleep gas. Coral Pukei-Pukei: Bird Wyvern. Subspecies of the Pukei-Pukei from the previous video. While Pukei-Pukei is a poison-based monster, Coral uses water instead. Barioth: Flying Wyvern. Originally from Monster Hunter's third generation. Part of the trio of Pseudo-wyverns, as the fans call them, as they mostly move around on all fours, only occasionally using their wings. Barioth breaths cold air to freeze targets, and the spikes on its front legs give it traction on icy ground. You can break those to hinder its movements. Velkhana: Elder Dragon. The flagship monster of Iceborne, the monster on the cover of the game, and a big part of the story. Velkhana can create massive ice walls, freeze things with its breath, and cover itself with ice to form armor. Nargacuga: Flying Wyvern. Originally from Monster Hunter's second generation. The flagship of Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. Part of the Pseudo-wyvern trio. Nargacuga can launch spiked feathers from the tip of its tail, and these become more pronounced as it gets angry. It is also well known for its eyes. When enraged, the blood rushes to its face and ears, and they glow bright red. Glavenus: Brute Wyvern. One of the Fated Four, the four flagship monsters of Monster Hunter Generations, widely considered to be the strongest of the bunch. Based on a Carnotaurus, it's built like a tank with a massive sword for a tail. When it grinds it against something, it heats up, so it has a flaming sword tail. It has to use its teeth to sharpen it, then it swallows the debris and uses that as fuel for its fire breath. Tigrex: Flying Wyvern. Originally from Monster Hunter's second generation. Flagship monster of Monster Hunter Freedom 2. Part of the Pseudo-wyvern trio. Aggressive and relentless, it mostly attacks by charging at you at high speeds. It doesn't have any elemental properties (it's dangerous enough without them), but it does have a roar powerful enough to do damage if you're too close, like how tiger roars create actual sonic booms to stun prey. Brachydios: Brute Wyvern. Originally from Monster Hunter's third generation. Flagship monster of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. It's covered in a slime mold that reproduces by exploding. Its shell prevents it from doing so until after it gets stuck on something else, and its saliva essentially primes it to blow. When it gets angry, the slime mold turns orange and it basically explodes on contact instead of having a delayed reaction. Shrieking Legiana: Flying Wyvern. Subspecies of the Legiana from the previous video. Shrieking Legiana has much more powerful ice attacks and is far more aggressive. Acidic Glavenus: Brute Wyvern. Subspeces of the Glavenus. This one has a much lighter tail, letting it swing it much more quickly. Acid crystals grow on it, which slow it down a little, but they inflict defense down because the acid is eating through your armor. Ebony Odogaron: Fanged Wyvern. Subspecies of the Odogaron from the previous video. Odogaron normally has no elemental properties, but the Ebony variant has Dragon element, which is reserved for the most powerful and intelligent of monsters. Velkhana with its ice armor on. Seething Bazelgeuse: Flying Wyvern. Subspecies of Bazelgeuse, which never got its own intro cutscene in World. Bazelgeuse is an invader, often showing up in the middle of your hunts and dropping explosive scales everywhere, earning it the nickname of The B-52. Seething Bazelgeuse is even more explosive, but it doesn't roam like its cousin. Blackveil Vaal Hazak: Elder Dragon. Subspecies of the Vaal Hazak from the last video. This one is covered in moss-like pustules that spray the effluvium that they use to feed. This one doesn't just infect other monsters, it also infects the terrain, essentially laying traps everywhere. It's also blinded by the moss, but it can use the effluvium to find you. Basically a walking Resident Evil 7 reference. Namielle: Elder Dragon. Manta ray-like creature that leaves puddles of water all across the battlefield, which it can then electrify. It changes its color depending on if it's focusing on water or electricity. Shara Ishvalda: Elder Dragon. A beast covered in rock armor. The 'song' is the vibrations of its wings as it grinds the ground into sand and knocks down mountains. Zinogre: Fanged Wyvern. Originally from Monster Hunter's third generation. Flagship of Monster Hunter Portable 3rd, and one of the most popular monsters of all time. Nicknamed Thunder Puppy. Those bugs are called Fulgurbugs, and they nest in its fur and body, giving it an electric charge. It can also go Super Saiyan by charging itself up even more. Its fighting style was inspired by Terry Bogard from King of Fighters. Yian Garuga: Bird Wyvern. Originally from Monster Hunter's first generation. Cousin of the much more docile Yian Kut-Ku. Nasty little bastard bird that fights anything and everything. It's not only poisonous, it has a supersonic scream that can stun you. It also has extremely keen hearing. A few title update monsters were missing: Rajang, Safi'jiiva, Alatreon, and Fatalis.
Hey just wanted to correct something in your breakdown of the monsters. Shrieking Legiana, Seething Bazelgeuse, & Blackveil Vaal Hazak are Variants not subspecies. They are like Rusted Kushala Daora, Chaotic Gore Magala, Scarred Yian Garuga, Savage Deviljho, Furious Rajang, Raging Brachydios & Ruiner Nergigante. Basically a Variant is a monster that had something change them during a part of their life, like Furious Rajang losing its tail some time ago, Rusted Kushala being a Kushala during pre-molt etc. Subspecies are monsters that are related to their base monster counterpart but are genetically different to adapt to a new environment.
No problem, happens to a lot of people really. LOL Always great to have more fans of the series! Especially now that Frontier might officially now be canon thanks to Espinas coming in MH Rise Sunbreak!
So Iceborne is basically a paid expansion DLC for Monster Hunter World, adding a new hub area, two new areas, tons of brand new mechanics and features as well as new combat mechanics and doubled the number of monsters from the base game as well as introducing a new ‘difficulty’ level.
Those monsters are Called Ultimate Class forms they can spit the acid at u and use powers to take your soul, too bad you can only use two weapons after u unlock the sword of latex

Ok that is why people like it better, thank you.

Yes I will soon
World > Rise
@@AmishMicrowavehard disagree
Bit of a funny way to compare, but if you've seen My Hero Academia you might compare Brachidiyos with Bakugo.
Good comparison lol
Rajang is where?
