Thanks for these calculations. I came up owing them and I read somewhere that this is potentially due to my job change which of course changes income. I still do not fully understand in my case but this actually gives framework through which I can do my own calculations to better understand.

I was supposed to get x amount from SARS returns but there was a confusing part which I still do not understand. There was a rebate deduction which nearly depleted the refund that was due to me. It makes more sense after I have watched your Video.
Yes,it is informative thank you bt i really don't understand the way SARS sometimes tax is different compared to previous year incase the salary does not increase that much bt the problem is that the tax is too much...that i really don't understand if you can clearify that for me please😱🤔

This rebate deduction capped to zero had me queuing at the SARS offices for four hours. I am still so bitter that I don't get paid. I missed this in all the research I was doing. Thanks.

Can you do a video about things that you can take up that may increase your likelihood of getting a refund e.g medical aid , contributing to your retirement fund , investment properties , i think also having a travel allowance also can be part if you meet certain number of kms per year.

Hi My Sister, is it good to put a policy number for Provident fund on SARS when you are filing the returns?
So what if between March - Feb you got an annual Increase maybe in June. Are you supposed to have 2 calculations as if you've changed jobs or you calculate it as one?

I just received a email and message from SARS confirming that I need to give them my correct bank details so they can send my tax refund, I saw a negative balance and got scared wondering how do I owe SARS. Thank you for explaining 💯
Don't reply directly and send your details to that email or message
Rather go to the sars website and update your details by adding the bank details there

Why is the refund reduced or taken back by SARS even thought no adjustments were made?
I just bumped into this, I need your help. I had a side hustle in which I earned based on the hours I claimed, somehow SARS when they did their estimates they told me I had a short fall. How can they estimate how much they would have earned from me if I was not paid a fixed amount each month? Now I owe them a lot of money and they have started with AA88 notice and is killing me. They don’t even tell you when they do this. I saw on my payslip, even my employer didn’t tell me.

Good day Sisi, How do you factor in once off payments that were issued to you, how do they affect your final payment ratio if they were taxed at your tax bracket? (Once off payments recieved are those from increase negotiations where the employer decides to give us a lump sum instead of a salary percentage increment)
