    Real horse training , look at the horse's ears, if you know anything about horses they are not enjoying the dance but they are not fighting neither. Excellent training wish I could send a couple of my mutts over there to get some manners!!!

    I'm sure horses would rather be in a herd eating grass while they are out on a relaxing trail ride or just being groomed as well.

    I really don't see this as cruel. The horse seems to be enjoying his job. They are not doing anything that is putting the horse in pain.

    They enjoy Bull fighting and wristling WWF but consider horse dance a cruelty ...LOLZZZ.
    Horse is a dimond and we give him angles through dance !
    Brilliant job !

  • @animalobsessed1
    @animalobsessed1 13 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Well, they do look happier than some dressage horses. But there are also dressage horses who look happier than these horses.
    Obviously, the happiest horses are the ones that get to stretch their necks and other muscles while playing with their companions in a nice big meadow.
    This may not be ideal, but I also wouldn´t go as far as calling it cruelty.

  • @MrAZERTY21
    @MrAZERTY21 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    You see the rider falling at the end of the video? do you think a horse can put his rider down without any violent reaction in other places? Nothing on this video shows more injuries to horse than any legal competion in all disciplines.
    Thoses dancing horses are beyond all training. Amazing.

    CRUEL?!?! i see no cruelty, i see healthy happy horses! You wanna see cruelty then go to a sight that says animal cruelty. They are not beaten, and a horse will not do something that he doesn't like. The horse isn't pushed, pulled or dragged. They look like they are having fun and thats the way it should be. I think its awesome that the horse can do something like that, way cool tricks. Loved it!!

    Just because it's different doesn't mean it's painful. Haven't you ever seen the Lipizzaners being trained? That doesn't look to practical either. The horses don't look distressed and are being rewarded constantly

    How do you know they whip the horses? Do you know how this training is done? Not being rude -- just don't know how these horses are trained to do this, was wondering if you know. True, it looks strange because we are not used to seeing this sort of thing. But, it is what they do. Is it any stranger than dressage? Or barrel racing?

    i really dont see why people are getting so worked up and calling this abuse, its not, the horse would not do it if it didnt want to, and the culture they are from all but worshops the horse, a horse is held higher in a mans heart than his wife over there.

    Sorry Jasper, I still don't see the horse being whipped. But, no matter. I would not train my horses to do such things, but every culture is different -- to each his own. I train my horses for trail riding, moving cattle, team penning. Probaby these folks think we are cruel for riding our horses. Cheers!!

    A horse CAN be treated in this way for some minutes at time, and then maybe be left alone and still be a fit horse otherwise! Horses adapt to some cruelty if treated good rest of the time! BUT - it's still cruelty to force the horses muzzle down to it's chest, AND force it to trot kneeling at the same time! Check out at 1:56 in this video above!!

    we shouldnt be so fast to judge someone just by a video. The only way to judge someone is to go to where these horses are and see for ourselves, see where they are housed, and how they are trained. A video alone is not going to show us anything. Anyone can call anyone else an abuser but what if that person was wrongly accused and it was the person putting up videos of their wonderful creatures up, that when you finally go behind the scenes, that the animals are actually being abused. think.

  • @barrelraces456

  • @Synexin
    @Synexin 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    The only thing about this I really don't like is the forced headset with the bit and the short reins.. Seems to be a very big thing with the Marwari people. Otherwise, funny as it looks, I can't really complain - the horses aren't terrified or resisting, they come right out of it and perk up and a few of them actually get praised. They're in good weight and look healthy. It looks funny to me, but I can't say abuse. Would just wish they'd loosen the reins a little.

  • @MrFRISKYWHISKY
    @MrFRISKYWHISKY 14 ปีที่แล้ว

    i agree with turtle08s i really dont think they are happy, more pissed off then anything. they cant be happy. the average weight of a horse that size is between 800-1000 lbs, all that weight on 2 feet and doing stuff like that... i wonder how sound they will be when they are older.

    you know there some kind of a law in those country, the last drop of water will always be for the horse, over mother and children. I don't know many people who cherish more their horses that Arabians, their horses is the sun and the moon to them so i'm wouldn't worry much about the horse's health, which obviously quite good... and btw I don"t see many difference between this and European dressage, at least the horses heads are not glued to their necks...

    whats the point of making a horse lift its legs in an exaggerated gait wearing heavy, awkward shoes? or making them race around barrels? or be forced to hold their heads tight to their chests and do a bunch of different gaits around an arena? human entertainment.

  • @JordanBlaze2011
    @JordanBlaze2011 10 ปีที่แล้ว

    I understand that this is part of culture but IMHO this does not prevent it from being cruelty. Especially if it was proved that one of these actions harms the animal.
    - I watched a video couple of weeks ago about how tying the horse chin into his chest will break the muscles on the top of his head and cause harmful internal wounds.
    This is enough to include this action in cruelty actions list

  • @JasperIsaLittleHorse
    @JasperIsaLittleHorse 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Well that one guy was whipping the horse AS the horse was doing as he asked....and already that is poor training, no release. And usually at a "show" they do not whip the animals.....if the whip them at the show can you imagine what they do in the privacy of their own place.

  • @callysto_ii

    I think jumping horse's joints are much more at risk that thos horses's legs, and yet no one is saying anything about it...I really don't see how this is torture, it doesn't look that different to european dressage to me...

  • @juliecoolyful
    @juliecoolyful 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @universalradio
    Dressage is NOT the most stressful discipline for horses. Have you ever heard of Thoroughbred racing? Do you know how many hundreds of horses die on racetracks every year from racing related injuries? Dressage is not stressful, but it is demanding. Horses develop a great deal of strength, muscle, and balance by doing dressage. It is the foundation of ALL other disciplines. Let me know when you hear about a horse dying from a dressage accident, then we'll talk.

    MrFRISKYWHISKY - If you could just see how the civilized military of Pakistan makes horses dance as well - horses and dogs are the most civil of all animals, and can be tamed to do whatever ! Is playing fetch not cruel and humiliating? These horses simply LOVE to dance - and mind you, there owners might sleep hungry, but they make sure that their horse is cared for and spend a hefty amount on their food and well being ! Search for Horse and Cattle show !

    The movement that they are trying to do is a natural movement But these horses have been trained incorrectly and cruely . U can tell by how animated the movement is and the amount of tension! The movement should be done with relaxation as well as the right amount of tension . Tension that's not stress. These movements are forced instead of willing ..theyve made them mentally insane.. I hate seeing such things :/

    Its called "EVOLUTION" you should not question animal intellect. This dancing trait exits in arabian horse and where ever arabs went this trait went them including some breeds of horses in spain, subcontinet, south america and mid east.i mean same goes to parrots, they are not taught to speak like humans but naturally they have ability to mimick sounds. There are tons of video even on youtube of birds of paradise in austraila, africa etc which will confirm my statement.

  • @TheTALONtedEagle
    @TheTALONtedEagle 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    I have trained and riden many horses in my life so far and this horse is very irratated and this style of movment puts alot of stress on the hind leg muscles wich builds up painfull lactic acid and not to mention the incredible strain that this particular "movement" puts on the cannon bone and fetlocks of these horses. These people need to be educated on natural movments of the horse and embrace THOSE motions not this clown act. Appreciate the horse for what it is not what we can make it!
