This completely changed my life. All this time I was desperate to get the lineart perfect (because in every lesson and tutorial they always tell you how your lineart must be perfect in order to be able to create anything good) and now I see you creating masterpieces with... ahem, less than perfect starting point. first time coming across your videos. wow, I must say, one of the more underrated skills in this video is your shadowing/highlighting skills, which you don't seem to show off as much. I think it's quite impressive how you can make anything look super 3d and more characteristic! you should... highlight it more often (pun intended)

Hard to underestimate just how godly this guy is at doing shadows. 99% of the realism he achieved is because he is a master at using light.
Apart from the fact he turned around the moon so the direction of the sun is inconsistent with the planet. This really triggered me as an astronomy nerd.

The head of that monster snake thing reminds me of an evil and demented Snowman for some reason. Maybe it's the hat and the long nose.

You do know that it's commonly used as an art program, right?
Like, it's not just a photo editiot
A lot of concept art is made with photos (photobashing & matte painting) look no further than The Last Of Us concept art. The reason is because it’s quicker and the results are more realistic.

Photoshop is used as a drawing program and isn’t just used for photo editing
