I cannot believe how alike are Spanish and French. Those similarities and primarily these lessons help me in my learning. Thank you so much!
Same with Italian
Italian is closer to French than Spanish but yes, all three have many similar words. This is because they are part of what's called Romance languages. Other languages considered "Romance languages" are Portuguese, Latin, Romanian. So many speakers of one or two of these language have an advantage in learning the others because of their similarities.

Great video!. I live in Toronto, Canada and I'm learning French. Yesterday was my 2nd class. I practice what I've learned watching your great lessons too. For me Fench is easier than English due to I'm Mexican and speak Spanish as a first language. Of course, the grammar and pronunciation are different in French, but I love this language and I'm lucky to live in a country where both languages are soplen. Thanks for your videos, are great and I will keep watching them and practicing my pronunciation and learning in school and with you too. Au Revoir et Merci!

The greatest loss was from the Latin "dies solis" as none of these Latin countries kept a form close to it.
Arguable the Romanian language is the nearest form of the old Latin just by looking at Monday ,Tuesday, Wednesday alone.

WhiskyPentruFete but in Portuguese we say : Domingo, Segunda-feira, terça-feira, quarta-feira, quinta-feira, sexta-feira, Sabado. And our idom is also a Latin language.

Guys, lemme tell u one certain thing about this great lady and her teaching way.. I am an English teacher so i know how to teach and i know the teaching methods to learn a language. Ive started to learn French for a couple of weeks and i have tried learning it with the help of some other youtube channels too. I can tell you this for sure that this lady is the best..
