I’m new to Madden. Even with auto flip off, my defensive end seems to be lined up on right side of the screen and not the left, as indicated around the 2:30 mark in the video. How do I fix that?
You can add any of these plays to any play book you just have to create a playbook then go to all plays which shows all plays you can add and remove plays so you can literally have a 20 play offense
I really wish money/nano plays didn't exist to the extent that you only have to run like 4 plays on defense. I personally use about 15 plays on defense because it's more realistic than cheesing the game (but I don't blame you)
Actually in the NFL defensive coordinators call only a few plays, but disguise them with different looks. For example, Greg Williams calls cover 1, and cover 2 invert about 95% of the time, but runs them from 2 different fronts.
That spot is actually taken by your outside linebacker (might be a DE depending on your specialist tab) but a good pass rusher who can drop into pass coverage (players like ROLB bo Jackson, Mr Monday night, and others)
Yes, we want to have the outside corners dropping back. They will be able to take away corner routes in their 25 yard light blue. If you tired to put the purple zones at 25, they will never get deep enough in time to stop a corner route and they won’t get far enough to the sideline.
The amount of people running Meta is ridiculous. But not everyone is good at running these formations. Bad players will send the blitz but make bad coverage adjustments. Or run the offense but make bad reads. It doesn’t ruin the game for me. It’s still about how well you run the schemes
Still gotta run it right and time the play calling correctly. I score all day on it and shut down people using it. Also a ton of different set ups that haven't been mentioned here.
Those are pass rush points. They just represent the pass rush ability of the user (meaning each player will have different number of them).They have nothing to do with the blitz. Other than, they give you and indicator that you are close enough to the line of scrimmage.

Use the cover 4 version and bring ur safeties closer. Scrape with ur user. It’s decent run D. If u know there running for sure same thing but press blitz and user qb contain
@chriscahill7796 no, they are all flipped. You can tell by looking at the To see where the DE or slot corner are located. When it’s flipped the DE is always on the left side and the slot corner is always on the right.

When you run this formation flipped you can send the blitz out of 7 deferent plays - or you can play coverage out of them. The best part is you can’t tell the difference between when the blitz is being sent and when ur playing coverage.

press r2 before picking the play to flip the play

This is literally one of the easiest defenses to use in must… check out my gameplay channel to see it in action.
just takes practice. The audibles become muscle memory over time. Its not an easy thing to run defense in this game, it takes time.
