Yes discernment with the word is so important ,it happened to me one time when i was not really memorising and contemplating the word of God that through intensive seduction and beguilling speeches of the enemy in my thoughts i fell into his trickeries though i was a long time christian even when i was a worshipper and intercessor still it was not enough so i made up my mind to hide multitudes of scriptures in my heart i am more militant in my warfare now adays, thanks alot for this tips .....

Mr. Michael, I think it's great that you're putting on the gift of prophecy. I think of this Scripture concerning your journey "The Lord is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." I think that's what you've done! That zeal is so Christlike!! Also this Scripture, "eagerly desire the gift of prophecy."
Discernment is so important. Knowing that you are hearing compared to the Truth is crucial. I pray my kids grow up knowing the Truth so that when warfare comes they will be able to say “no that’s not the voice of Truth stop talking”
I agree with y'all. Bruce Allen is a real servant of God. Like the Bible says, "have this mind in you, which was also in Christ who, though being in the form of God, did not consider equality with God a thing to be grasped but emptied himself, took on the form of a servant, being found in the likeness of men. And being found in human flesh, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross." That's in Philippians 2

Thank you for this. I have been trying to make a decision and have been praying needing discernment. I prayed and asked the Lord for help...opened up TH-cam expecting to fellowship through livestream and just got this check to refresh my feed. I saw your video pop up and answered some of it for me. I suppose I have made it more about the "process" than I have about the fellowship with the Lord and that's telling. I had been driven mostly by anxiety to hear and then hearing alright just not what the Lord is saying but it added more noise to the mix. Between flesh, soul, spirit, the enemy and finally somewhere in the mix is the Word of God and the still small voice or witness. Rest. The Word of God. The Heart of God. The Mind of Christ. The Spirit of God. He's not a formula or process. It's surrender. That was a much-needed reminder. There is no substitute for being willing to mess up as I learn to discern by reason of use. I need to trust Him to help me. Summary: There's a reason He sent me the Helper. I'm helpless. Not hopeless.

Inquiring of the Lord is SOOO IMPORTANT. Prayer is our DAILY FOOD!!! FYI, I had two dreams where God revealed His divine name to me, and it's YAHAWAH!!! I heard you say that's how God revealed it to the Indians. I felt so encouraged! God spoke to Indians in dreams. That's SO AMAZING ABOUT HIS NAME!!! I was like, that's what I believe! His name is YAHAWAH!! you know, He is God. It's not three persons. One God who reveals Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. I love the HOLY GHOST. He is a spirit. He is the Spirit of GOD HIMSELF!!!

Honestly I'm astonished by our WICKEDNESS "There is none righteous no not one." I cry out to God about it. About our EVIL AND HEART WRENCHING WICKEDNESS!!! you know, this thought is coming to my mind. Ninevah was very wicked but God sent them JONAH. He tried to run away but God sent a BIG FISH TO SWALLOW HIM. Jonah was a prophet but disobeyed God. Then Jonah prayed to the Lord his God from the belly of the fish, saying, “I called out to the Lord, out of my distress, and he answered me; out of the belly of Sheol I cried, and you heard my voice. For you cast me into the deep, into the heart of the seas, and the flood surrounded me; all your waves and your billows passed over me. Then I said, ‘I am driven away from your sight; yet I shall again look upon your holy temple.’ The waters closed in over me to take my life; the deep surrounded me; weeds were wrapped about my head at the roots of the mountains. I went down to the land whose bars closed upon me forever; yet you brought up my life from the pit, O Lord my God. When my life was fainting away, I remembered the Lord, and my prayer came to you, into your holy temple. Those who pay regard to vain idols forsake their hope of steadfast love.
