I freaked when I saw Jesse! My understanding of the Jack/Tim thing is that because Remedy doesn't own the rights to Quantum Break, they are "multiversal variants" of each other, so they can continue the weird time/universe hopping stuff but with a "new character", but same actor. And I love it.
Yeah exactly. Best way to think about it is that it’s the same character in everything but name, and occupation i suppose. I mean, they literally named the guy Tim Breaker after Jack was in a game about breaking time.
OMG! That's so cool!! By the way, I had already been listening that song that was playing there, but I was confused why it wasn't in the game... this explains it. thanks Julia!!
I loved your reactions! They were so good and you absolutely called it with Rose. It’ll also be good having Jesse back and I’m curious to see what they do with Tim. I’m so excited to play the DLC tomorrow. 🎉 As for the Jack/Tim thing, Jack Joyce is the main character of Quantum Break and is also played by Shawn Ashmore. In Alan Wake 2 he plays Sheriff Tim Breaker and while QB hasn’t been officially connected to the Alan Wake universe… I wouldn’t be surprised if they linked it and therefore linked the characters somehow. The Remedy connected universe is a strange thing indeed. 😂😂
Sam Lake is such a goober and impossible not to love. Would you consider playing the Max Payne games on Twitch/YT? 2 and 3 still hold up really well by modern standards and contain that esoteric Remedy weirdness we know and love. Playing them would also fill in the blanks since Alex Casey is literally Max, down to the very outfit and personality. They just couldn't use Max Payne since Rockstar purchased that IP after the second game.
I like 3 but it's completely different from 1 and 2 and was made by Rockstar, not Remedy. Well worth playing but it's its own thing even if it has a few references to the old ones.
@@juliatvgames Oh for sure but I wouldn't skip the originals. There's a certain charm to the old games. It'd be like not playing the original Resident Evil 2 and 3 because there are remakes, if that makes sense.
@@Renoistic I completely agree. I love 3 but it's missing that "Remedy" touch that's hard to explain unless you've played their games. This is a bad example but 1 and 2 are like True Detective compared to 3 being more John Wick.
They can't quite because they don't own the IP unfortunately. But his name is already a nod to Quantum Break believe it or not. Tim Breaker is one letter shy of Time Breaker.
@@Arkatox I didn't know that when I posted actually. lol. But I played the first 2 episodes last night and did notice that they leaned right into it. lol. Pretty cool. Gonna play that one tonight.

Alan wake 2 DLC it's back I'm so freacking excited and I see 3 persons One is Rose, two is that woman games control y three I dunno who is this guy But I love Sam lake please go back dance with Alan wake 2 DLC for the song " show me the champions of light " 🎉🎉
The third guy is played by the guy who played the sheriff in AW2 and also the main character in Quantum Break, another Remedy game. I'm not completely sure if it's supposed to be that character, the sheriff or someone else though.
Literally best part of summer games fest!
the "night springs " song is just sooo good
“No one asked, Amazon” 😂

Tim says something like "I'll come back for you" which can't be a coincidence.
I hope I'm able to download it at 8 p.m. my time. Usually when stuff is released at midnight EST time I'm able to get it 4 hours early.
Did you know that even the credits loops itself in the Final Draft ending until you press 'Esc' to skip
So excited to see Jack and Jesse back in a Remedy game
YES!! I was just wondering yesterday when we might get DLC! My favorite game of last year!
its so nice to see julia reacting to something she enjoys so wholesome
Looks like I’m redownloading Alan wake 2 😊 can’t wait !
never deleted
It does take up a lot of space tbh.
Can’t wait to play this dlc and buy the collectors edition of the physical release.
So freaking awesome!
You were much more composed than my AAAAAAAA XD

Yeah I would like to play them, but might wait for the remakes of 1 & 2!

3 has nothing to do with Remedy and frankly it's an insult to max payne's 2 perfect ending(s). Good game but terrible Max Payne

I wonder if they could make a reference to Quantum Break in the Tim Breaker DLC, his name is Jack Joyce there.

Jesse Faden let’s gooo! Oh man I stopped watching after Neva ‘cause I thought that would be all the cool game announcements. Can’t wait till tomorrow!
Hi. Nice reaction, Julia!!
Jesse & Rose 🥰🥰🥰
Let's goo!!

I hope the physical of Alan wake 2 is actually a physical copy. Meaning a disc in a case.
What else could a "physical copy" mean?
What else could that mean you troglodyte
