On my 16th birthday my father surprised me with a 49 Willys CJ 3B. My first and favorite car. Drove it for years, while at college my younger brother traded off. Watching your three shows brought back a lot of fond memories spent with that jeep, and a few tears. I'm 63 yrs old now, and missing my youth. I think will build a Jeep. I thought it looked a little bit like the Bronze Green the British Army used on their Land Rovers before they went with NATO camouflage in the 80s but I'm thinking you're right - British Racing Green is brighter than Bronze Green.

This rebuild brought back a lot of memories of when we did our Mini Cooper S. More or less the same colour, 'British Racing Green'. Good fun and well done.

Clint, you can buy the old turn signal kits at most auto parts stores. They are still used in many older/newer semi's or logging trucks. 😊
