- The ReCircle Collective Collaboration presents the first show to showcase the Zig Roller in a performance described as "Kinetic sculpture meets modern dance." In this video- Angelica Bongiovonni, Christopher Filkins, Alexandre Lane, and Marco Paoletti. Show recorded Saturday April 28th, 2012 at the Diavolo Theater in Los Angeles.

I kept thinking, this must take incredible trust, and that was *before* he started rolling the wheel *over* them! That thing must have been ungodly expensive though!

Hmm......not sure. Not as good as the cyr wheel or gym wheel???
Although this piece is fine, it lacks the lyricism of the wonderful choreography made by the renowned company MOMIX in the 90s. Yes this is not new MOMIX did it before. In opposition to the original MOMIX this is a very stiff choreography that makes a display of boudevilian sensationalism compared to the mastery of the artifact that a single dancer had in the original version of MOMIX. In that version a dancer dressed as the mythological God Mercury performed the act with great lyricism that incidentally is something that this choreography does not achieve.

To tweak it slightly into a humor piece do the exact same thing except with something funnier-shaped like a giant clown-face or lawn flamingo. When you lie on the ground have its mouth roll over you like its eating you (and stuff like that). Amateur looking performance. Considering the elaborate apparatus youd think they'd spend some time learning to present their act with some poise.
This was a boring performance! I would have fallen asleep! 😴👎
