I wish the Zartan still had the silly color-change gimmick the original toy had. I passed on the others but if I see this one on sale I'll definitely pick it up.

Soundwave as the Thunder Machine actually makes sense when you know that the Dreadnoks went under cover as the band "Cold Slither". So this alt mode makes sense in my headcanon. Band -> music -> Soundwave
The Thunder Machine was made by one of the Drednoks, named Thrasher " a motorcycle gang based originally in Australia who are led by Zartan" he pieced it together from Auto salvage yard picks to resemble one of those post Apacalyse Road Warrior vehicles . Believe or not the quality of plastic is on par with the original gi joe vehicles and this vehicle lols exactly like the original as well. I did not collect them but my cousin had tons of them and bins of figures where it was just torso’s, legs and waists because of all of the bands on them snapping.
Looked like the black panels on Soundwave's forearms could've been used to cover the hollowness. Also a fitting match of characters because of the Cold Slither song.
The original Zartan had a really cool gimmick where he could turn blue in direct sunlight. As cool as it would be to see that carry over to this version, I can understand why it didn't.
That Ravage looks like the actual MP Ravage just cast in blue and gray plastic. Also, I've chosen to stick with the Hasbro MP Soundwave or more specifically the Hasbro Asia reissue of that figure because I could not care less about G1 cartoon accuracy. It's also why my MP Prime is still the Hasbro MP-10 and my MP Bee is still the Takara MP-21.
I have my brothers original vehicle that I found in storage. I also have a re-release of the HISS Tank too. They still look very cool. the Soundwave looks ok
Isnt the blue ravage supposed to be howlback? Well he might be called ravage on the package for name recognition purposes anyway. Pretty cool looking soundwave though!
It's somewhat upsetting they have a good Ravage mold but decide to make it such an off-color. Even more frustrating is that this is an actually cool looking crossover toy, but the lack of modern articulation makes it feel like it cut too many corners. It would have been easy to add a hinge for ankle rockers, a mushroom peg for a wrist swivel, and the waist is a solid chunk that could have also easily incorporated a mushroom peg for a waist rotation.
I've made my peace knowing that this line is going to be more Joe than Bot, but at least one side is in proper scale. The repro O-ring figs. are pretty close approximations of the vintage versions, as are the Bots when in alt mode (even down to the crappy plastic). You can make fun of the Thunder Machine all you want, but that is mostly what the OG looked like: all Mad Max. Things fall apart a bit when in robot mode, but I gotta say, Soundwave comes the closest so far to pulling it off. Overall I'm still pleased with the results and look forward to the upcoming Sgt. Slaughter + Triple T tank/Kup. Yo Joe and roll out! 🤓
It's too bad we didn't get the skin color plastic for the figures. Yeah, the mask fits in the backpack for Zartan. I finally got mine. I like this better then Bumblebee for sure. I can't wait for the MOBAT/Prime crossover. I see they didn't use Zartan's original bio for his filecard. I like the combat knife for Soundwave. Ravage isn't the best but I like the spike collar ha ha. The Dreadnoks are a group that is more of vandalism and sabotage. A few of them have actual weapons were most have weapons that dismantle vehicles and equipment.
OK, GI Joe Crossovers. I want them to work soo bad. I know they are hollow and built out of a more flexi plastic, but my big complaint is that they keep choosing the wrong GI Joe vehicle/Transformer pair up. On the flip side, this is maybe one of the better Ravages we've gotten in a wile ;)

Alternators/ Binaltech feets 😊
The GiJoe rubberbands actually do last quite a while. I've got original figures from the 80s that are still good
great job about SOUNDWAVE DREADNOK THUNDER MACHINE Action Figure from Transformers
This looks so cool!! Can’t wait until mine gets delivered. Awesome video as usual man!
When I opened this guy I did not expect him to be as tall as PotP Leader Class Optimus Prime. Dude even dwarfs most of my other Leader class toys
I have my brothers original vehicle that I found in storage. I also have a re-release of the HISS Tank too. They still look very cool. the Soundwave looks ok
This is probably the best GI Joe crossover figure
Isnt the blue ravage supposed to be howlback? Well he might be called ravage on the package for name recognition purposes anyway. Pretty cool looking soundwave though!
Maybe this is Howlback Ravage, perhaps.
Good on Hasbro for keeping the original construction of the cobra figures like back in the day
Those Zarana and Zartan molds are ancient.
The Original zarana and her brother when you put them in sunlight their skin would change color
The G1 original cassettes fit in his chest as well. Pretty bad ass
The OG zartan was color changing, put hot water on him and he'd get darker...even better disguise than the mask 😉😋
I had both the G.I. Joes when I was a kid and those bands always snapped like a twig.
Pontiac firebird/killer machine😂😂😂😂 80s Nostalgia
It's too bad we didn't get the skin color plastic for the figures. Yeah, the mask fits in the backpack for Zartan. I finally got mine. I like this better then Bumblebee for sure. I can't wait for the MOBAT/Prime crossover. I see they didn't use Zartan's original bio for his filecard. I like the combat knife for Soundwave. Ravage isn't the best but I like the spike collar ha ha. The Dreadnoks are a group that is more of vandalism and sabotage. A few of them have actual weapons were most have weapons that dismantle vehicles and equipment.
I am disappointed that the next crossover figure is Kup. I CANNOT wait until Optimus gets a release.
Great review! Can't wait to get mine.
