These sessions have been fucking bonkers. Loving this!!
omg they keep posting sylvan esso's songs!!
OMG. What a great move. Going from Digital to Analog on these sounds is such an epic move. Jaw dropping deliciousness.
These echo mountain sessions have changed my life. So.in.love
Same!! Feeling revitalized.
LITERALLY JUMPED UP AND STARTED DANCING WITHOUT EVEN THINKING ABOUT IT
Oh damn, that sax though.
He's been blowing my mind on all these songs. So fucking pimp.
He's touring with The Mountain Goats now!
I knew he seemed familiar! Matt is such a talent.
This should be the most watched thing in the history of things. Sylvan! Mountain Man! Wye Oak! That fucking sax!! Hearing that goddamn hook of Nick's being rocked on a guitar! This is just the best thing ever. All of these.
I can't handle how good this one is, y'all.
It's like The Avengers of music assembling!
Creeping in the background busting awesome sax lines is Matt Douglas, who is now with The Mountain Goats!
These sessions created a whole new life for her music.. I love the Sax soo much in these sessions, as well as the instrument additions, in general.. Soo smooth.. Got me hitting repeat.
I say this becomes the new touring band! This is insanely amazing.
And you say correctly! I saw her play live and she filled an entire field back in washington state. She is amazing
It did! You wished it to existence!!
Sylvan Esso with a band? YES!
This is some of the best new music I've heard. I'd consider paying for it. lol.
Can not wait to see Sylvan Esso live!
It's like my birthday every day, when these drop. I'm beside myself. And that sax!
this is all so perfect. what a moment to see. cant. stop. watching. again. and. again.
I think this is the best one they've posted
It's so awesome seeing them together again!
WOWWW! That sax, man! That sax man!
Nice clean sound. Amazing vocals and musicianship.
should be on spotify!
that sax gives me life #smooth
It's my birthday and this song just made my morning. NPR, you guys are awesome.
I can't turn this up loud enough!!!!! Seeing SE in 1 week and really wish it was this group. Nick and Amelia will have to do!
Oh. My. God. This is brilliant.
All the NC. All of it in my ears and heart.
Love this song and the drums sound huge! Yes!
I can't like this enough and the happiness here fills me up. Tour this please. x
Keep pushing that REAL music!
Yes, yes, YES.
Thank you!
ESSO... LOUD!
But why isn't Radio on the Echo Mountain Sessions EP?!
Yeah just purchased and there's none of it :(
Matthew Moss what I'm sayin! It's the best one, in my opinion. So clean.
I noticed that too if you get the 'non-explicit' version. On Apple Music there's a separate explicit version with Radio on it.
I cannot like this enoughhhhhh I need a more powerful button to press to express my pure love
I really need this on vinyl. And in my phone.
I'm loving these versions of the songs
Every aspect of this is perfect.
DAMN this one is SO GOOD! Love the guitar work by Ryan and especially Jenn's bass playing. Such a great bass line too. Is there anything she can't play?
This set was so goooooooooooooood
Kinda sad that this wasn't included in the EP download
Oh well the video is still here
Loving these sessions! More, more,
More please!
Radio isn't on the Echo Mountain Sessions EP? Was this a special recording reserved for NPR? Why won't you let me buy this song!?
they all work together so beautifully 😁
Yo what the fuck is this. This is absolutely incredible.
❤️❤️❤️
So so good
Why do these new NPR posts omit the recording information like credits?
Musicians
Matt Douglas: saxophone; Ryan Gustafson: guitar; Amelia Meath: vocals; Nick Sanborn: keys;
Molly Sarle: vocals; Alexandra Sauser-Monnig: vocals; Jenn Wasner: bass; Joe Westerlund: drums
Matt Douglas kills it on this session!
Savage! See you in Dublin in November! Can't Wait!
Ryan Gustafson really nailed the guitar tone.
Yes! Best in show.
MIND BLOWN, AGAIN!!!! only 122,00 views what's wrong with this world!
me so happy!
I like it with the band. very cool.
Been waiting for this one 🙌🏻 keep them coming please
this is the best audio from a live performance i've heard in a while. great performance. great mix. :)
on repeat!
This is soo cool! Way to go people! Maybe we can hope to see this in a live version on tour?
Obviously theres the bonkers sax...but that bass line...👏
me again back to say that jenn is the fucking best
and exactly 3.30. magic.
Ohhhh that sax thoughh
Nice fast jam - I'm still stuck on die young #REPEAT
How cool is this, so good.
nice song..!! band is very accurated
Beautiful what else can I say
Incredible
Notice video length is exactly 3:30. It takes like an extra half second of blackness to do it, but point driven home.
If you haven't seen it you should check out their performance on Jimmy Fallon. It's a great performance but what makes it extra cool is a giant clock behind them counting down from 3:30. Needless to say they nail it.
This is by far the best recording from these sessions. Whyyyyyy isn't it on the Spotify album//will it be on the EP?
Cool thanks grate song
This is so dope
ok this is fucking awesome
Damn. This. Is. Good.
Wish the sax was a smidge higher in the mix...
Incredible either way!
My names sylvan
COOL
Is that Duke Silvers playing sweet sax?
Listen to Sylvan Esso's new song!

Euuuuuuuuuuuurk
Which vocalist is which?
If you like this, go check out Mountain Man. Same vocalists.
This is real music bitches
Kinda looks Like Dan Harmon
Anyone else feel the guitar is too loud during the chorus? Feels like it's overwhelming....
Jussi Pardoe nope loved the whole thing
I think it is too loud, but I could still hear the vocals so the volume wasn't too excessive
It's definitely too loud, but only by a bit. I can imagine it being difficult to get a balanced mix from a live recording. Still a great performance!
i had this same problem with the piano volume in 'Slack Jaw'... still, both are such excellent takes!
If I listen on my cell phone speaker yes, but no if I listen on anything that has actuall sq
