I genuinely appreciate your content, the way you don't post only the good side of being a hunter main but also the ties and losses, and with an explanation. It is really helpful and I don't think I've seen anyone post their losses voluntarily, and I like that!
Thank you 🫶🏻 I try to encourage playing as something that shouldn't be scary because I think of it as a way of learning as you play. It should be exciting to the player! But some get anxious so I try to show all sides to show that it is okay - and I use myself as an example to show that I am not immune to bad days!
Thank you so much for this, it's honestly refreshing to see a content creator show their ties and losses as well! I tend to get extremely frustrated when I lose and that's why I never managed to get higher than saber 1 and I even abandoned ranking with Mary altogether (used to have a B badge back in February). I'm currently trying to get back to hunter ranking (currently 110th Ivy) and this video really helped out. I get so much anxiety from just the thought of losing cuz all the hunter content creators made my expectations go way too high, so it's very comforting seeing someone even higher than me having the same struggles and taking them as an opportunity to learn. Can't wait for more videos, keep up with the good work! (Also sorry for the bad English, it's not my first language)
I am touched by this comment - I was struggling a lot before making content for the same reasons! The hunter players I followed all had insanely high winrate and perfect wins, and I never got to see mistakes. This meant that I worried that my mistakes would mean I am not good enough. 🙁 It took a while then while playing to see that each match was an opportunity to learn - which made losing much less embaressing for me. 😅 If I could see my matches as like a journey, not an outcome, then I worry less about win or lose, just about trying to play well to my abilities. 😊❤ [I believe in you to get further with Ivy! 110th is a very good placing to be proud of and she is very good - clearly in capable hands too. 😊🎉]
6:22 things that i'd like to add is do not change your trait yet especially since there were still 4 survivors and prisoner was only first chair. I always recommend to save your change trait until it was needed at the time, or if prisoner was already eliminated. But overall you did great 👍👍
Lady Bella is my favourite Mary S tier ! I don't own her or the accessory however it is on my list to get upon its return! The pink and white is so good for her and I love the hair 😊🩷
@Aanlyi64 oh now that you point it out I can hear it 😭😭, it was like incredible hesitation but it really does sound like almost crying haha! I am glad you like the guide, I like to make them to know it helps others.
It's actually so cool that you're not afraid to show that you're not perfect and can lose too. I was having a lot of rage quite while ranking as Mary and it was kinda difficult to admit my defeat lol. Gl in your future sessions🌿
Ah that was my past maybe a year ago, I was hitting lots of losses and getting very angry. I try to take a more positive approach - looking at the match as a journey, not as an outcome. It's when I did this that I find it harder to be angry as I don't go into it expecting anything in particular - and this means I don't panic when things happen unexpectedly too.
Darkwoods should NOT be in rank 😭 I still think it's so bad for hunters because of how easy to loop and transition this map is (in my opinion). It's so good that you shared your loss and made it something to learn! Even the best hunters can commit mistakes and it's so refreshing to see it
I have smaller mistakes often in my matches and can usually rebound from it but I think showing these moments is important for me to be vulnerable with my audience, and to have it there as a reminder that loss is more than okay and even should be expected to some degree. Hunter anxiety stems from a stress or fear of loss so I want to normalise it for some who struggle with it 🥲🫶🏻
@@ihrnoir I am hoping to make more of these to help in the near future, when I was more inexperienced I had very bad anxiety and sometimes anger too that I have since changed from 😅🙏🏻
This map is nightmare for hunters and survivors (speaking from my experience) Whenever i play hunter i usually get wins (in this map) just by luck since survivors cannot kite in this map and mostly are confused just like me, and loses as survivor since i cant kite in this map just like others 😭 But don't worry, mistakes are madeeee, and really dont stress out even if its rank! It will just make things worser 😢 (also speaking from my experience) ❤
3:55 it's okay to missed mirror but u still got hit, unless u wasted ur mirror and no hit, it would be so bad, 6:29 agree u shouldn't do that because you alrd change your trait to teleport, unless u change it to abnormal, mirror to journalist and camp the cipher, by camping the dead prisoner u still have a high chance to tie the game, but when you decide to leave him, you need to chase journalist, and you lost the prisoner, if u try to chase prisoner, probably he alrd get heal and waste more time to chase him. 7:30 At this time I know you really panicking here loll (dw I do mistake when I panic and it's normal!), most of survivor will bring flywheel so try charge attack to bait the flywheel. 8:35 end game tips, if u had feeling that the other cipher alrd prime, try to chase them without mirror, bcs if you use your mirror, and they popped the cipher, you have nothing to chase the surv. And it would be so so so baddd for you because you waste a lot of time for waiting the mirror cool down. 9:19 this is good desicion! Why? Because u still have a chance to tie the game, prisoner had to open the new gate, and u can chair the other person, and the others surv need to run to the other gate and when your mirror cd is done, u can got to the gate and can get AT LEAST 1 surv, but sadly you alrd panicking and you messed up the mirror by hit the puppet. It's okay everyone do mistake, and that's normal. "Mistakes are delayed success"
Yes I love this evaluation a lot! You give insight that I didn't think of and I can now see that my later game may have been redeemable if I had focused myself again 😅. Such is the game though, we win and lose and I know better now thankfully 🩷🥲
Someone gave me this advice and I'd like to pass it on, at the beginning of the match, the moment blink is ready you're supposed to use it. If you haven't downed someone by the time blink is ready the match might end up being a tie or even worse, a lose
This is true generally however, the penalty for missing a blink is worse in my opinion than for not using it immediately. Hence why I am usually careful - this time I was wreck less and inconsiderate to myself haha!
I have watched your rank match a few time, it is difficult to match up with that ping. I don't want to play went ping is 100ms up, it happens on 5v5 match you get the picture.
It can be very tough but some parts of the day ping is okay-ish for me! I don't often do 5 player rank for this reason! But for rank I muscle through it

you are one of my favourite idv youtubers, i love how you show us your loss matches, also do you like the lady bella skin?

9:22 sounds like your about to cry 😭 but hey I don’t blame you cause same. Also another awesome video guide as always!

@MaxMartinezIDV that's excellent! I struggled a lot with hunter anxiety and sometimes I still do, this indeed should be normalized

@MaxMartinezIDV aw same :( my anxiety was so bad in the past
Thx for showing us the things that we need to fix 😄
It was a little embarrassing for me to see how bad this game was played from my end - but I am happy it helps me and others also! 😆
@MaxMartinezIDV its okk we all make mistakes jajaja, I also do

Yeah this is honest words, my panic led to the spiralling downfall that came about otherwise - I could've salvaged it sooner likely 😅
